    In order to thoroughly grasp the strategic position of China’s pepper industry in global market;study and judge the development trend of pepper industry;and crack the problems existing in industry,this paper analyzed the development situation and new trend facing the pepper industry by systematic and continuous on-site research and data retrieval,from the aspects of industry scale,international trade,price information,planting benefit and technical innovation.The results showed when the industrialization level of pepper was rapidly improving and consumer group was rapidly expanding,problems of unstable planting profit,impacting international market,and continuous rising of planting cost were needed by strong support in the following aspects of industrial policy,fine varieties promotion and improvement of mechanization level etc.

    A Genome-wide association study(GWAS)is a population-level statistical analysis of genotype and observable traits(i.e.,phenotypes),which provides research ideas for revealing the genetic mechanisms of complex agronomic traits in crops by screening the genetic variants that can affect the trait through statistical quantities or P-values.At present,GWAS has been widely used in crop genetics and breeding.This paper mainly expounds the application progress of GWAS in the agronomic traits quality and resistance of pepper;explores and prospects the existing problems.In order to provide a theoretical basis and reference for the future use of GWAS for the genetic basis of pepper agronomic and quality traits as well as molecular marker-assisted breeding.

    In order to screen the biocontrol strains which can be used to control capsicum blight,in this study,an endophytic bacterium strain S39 was isolated from a pepper plant,and the inhibitory effect of strain S39 and its metabolites on Phytophthora capsicum was determined by plate confrontation method and Oxford cup method.The antibacterial profile,disease prevention and growth promotion effect of strain S39,the effect on rhizosphere soil microbial population and its biocontrol factors were analyzed.The results showed that the antibacterial rate of strain S39 against Phytophthora capsicum flat plate was 83.00%,and the antibacterial rate of secondary metabolites reached 75.17%.Moreover,strain S39 had inhibitory effect on a variety of pathogenic bacteria,and the bacteriostatic rate reached 63.80%-86.33%.The greenhouse potting test showed that its prevention effect against pepper blight could reach 75.87%.It had a significant growth promotion effect on pepper plants,and the root growth rate was 21.05%.At the same time,it can increase the number of bacteria and actinomycetes in the rhizosphere soil.It can produce antibacterial substances such as protease,amylase,cellulase,dextran enzyme,etc.,and has a good application prospect as a biocontrol preparation.

    The Chinese potato market in 2023 has 3 significant characteristics:high potato price in early stage,year-on-year price on the lower side in later stage,and annual prices at their highest in nearly 10 years,etc. It is expected that the potato market prices in 2024 will be generally lower than that in 2023. At present,there are still existed problems noteworthy in China’s potato industry,including unbalanced industrial development,urgent improvement of processing level and insufficient protection of regional public brands,etc.In order to further promote the upgrading of China’s potato industry,it is suggested that local governments of various regions to implement targeted support policies,accelerate the in-depth development of whole industrial chain,and strengthen protection of regional public brands.

    Melatonin is a conserved pleiotropic molecule commonly existed in plants and animals and involved in plant regulation of several growth and development processes and stress responses.Many studies in recent years have shown that melatonin has a favorable effect on improving crop tolerance to various biotic and abiotic stresses.As a high effective antioxidant,melatonin can scavenge free radicals such as reactive oxygen species(ROS),improve nutrient uptake,osmoregulatory substance production,and cell membrane stability by regulating the transcript levels of enzymes and transcription factors associated with the adversity-antioxidant system,and improve plant tolerance to adversity stress.In addition,it can also reduce the damage of adversity stress to plants by participating in the synthesis of various hormones and activating plant stressrelated hormones.This paper reviewed the synthesis and metabolism of melatonin,and latest research progress in major solanaceous vegetables resistance to adversity stress during resent 10 years,so as to provide references for its future application in vegetables against adversity stress.

    In recent years,China’s facility vegetable industry has developed rapidly.Application of modern agricultural technologies including facilities construction,water-saving irrigation,water-fertilizer integration,light and simplified cultivation,green prevention and control,etc.has promoted the healthy and rapid development of facility vegetable industry.However,the overall level of facility vegetables is still not high.There existed problems as poor facilities,low degree of mechanization,low utilization rate of production materials,backward cultivation and management technology,and insufficient intelligent application,etc.China’s facility vegetable development should focus on development of facility vegetable’s germplasm resources,optimization of facility structure and equipment’s modernization,intellectualization of environment regulation,greenization of plant diseases and insect pestscontrol,modernization of production management,optimization and diversification of facility vegetables,multi-format integration and high efficiency,and expansion of facility vegetable space,etc.directions;so as to promote high-quality development of China’s facility vegetable industry.

    Inner Mongolia is an important pepper producing area in China.It has advantages in scaleand mechanization,etc.This paper combed the development situation of pepper industry in Inner Mongoliafrom the following aspects,including planting distribution characteristics,seedling and planting patterns,production efficiency,major pests and diseases,mechanized condition,etc.; analyzed the current situation of pepper industry in Inner Mongolia;summarized the advantages of developing paper industry in Inner Mongolia;and put forward problems existing in pepper industry in Inner Mongolia from the aspects of R &D and promotion of excellent varieties,simplified and mechanized cultivation, intensive seedling raising,construction of post-harvest processing and circulation facilities,etc.The paper also suggested to strengthenthe R & D of proprietary intellectual property varieties in protected areas;increase the promotion of new and excellent varieties of processed pepper;realize gradually the simple cultivation of fresh pepper in protected fields,and develop large-scale and mechanization of processing pepper in open fields;support the development of intensive nursery enterprises and promote the rapid popularization and application of new and excellent varieties;strengthen the construction of pepper circulation facilities and improve the processing capacity of pepper.

    From 2022 to the first half of 2023,vegetable mechanization of China had ushered in new development opportunities. The development of vegetable mechanization had attracted widespread attention,and shown an overall accelerated development trend. This article summarized the new breakthroughs of vegetable mechanization technology in the research and development of equipment for key links such as vegetable transplanting and harvesting,the innovation of typical vegetable mechanization models,and the exploration of intelligent technology for vegetable production. It also outlined the new progress of vegetable mechanization in demonstration and promotion,integration of agricultural machinery and agronomy,and practical application. However,there is still a big gap between the development of vegetable mechanization and the high-quality development of the vegetable industry. To this end,it is recommended to accelerate the development of vegetable mechanization from four levels:integrated guiding goals,integrated integration measures,integrated complete sets of equipment,and integrated service entities.

    Brassicaceae vegetable crops hold a significant position in Chinese vegetable production and market supply.DNA fingerprinting has emerged as an effective method for studying the genetic diversity of plant germplasm resources,seed purity,and other related aspects.In recent years,this technology has matured considerably,enabling rapid and accurate species authentication,identification,classification.This paper summarizes the application in genetic breeding of Brassicaceae vegetables including variety identification,analysis of genetic diversity and heterozygous groups.This paper provides a comprehensive overview of the advancements made in DNA fingerprinting technology for Brassicaceae vegetables while discussing the challenges associated with its implementation in breeding.

    Abstract:Somatic hybridization is a technique,which can induce fusion of plant protoplasts fromdifferent species,genera or even families and then obtain regenerated plants by culture in vitro.As aneffective technology,protoplast fusion can overcome the physiological barriers to hybridization in traditionalbreeding,realize the recombination of nucleoplasmic genes between different materials,and transfer excellentgenes,create and obtain new germplasm containing target characters.At the same time,it can rapidly createmale sterile materials,and greatly shorten the breeding cycle.It is an effective means of crop breakthoughbreeding,and also a powerful tool for character improvement.The paper reviewed the development history,research and application areas of this technology on vegetables;summarized emphatically the researchprogress of protoplast separation regeneration and somatic cell hybridization in vegetable crops of Cruciferae,Solanaceae,and Apiaceae;looked forward the application prospect of somatic cell hybridization technologyin vegetable crops;and discussed the problems and countermeasures in application of this technology,so as toprovide reference for the wide application of somatic cell hybridization in vegetables.

    Recently,in order to adapt to agricultural internationalization and realize complement of each other’s advantages in agricultural industry,China has actively carried out cooperation in agriculture with countries along the‘Belt and Road’.The correlation degree of agricultural industry between China and the Mekong countries has been increasing year by year.This paper analyzed the current status of vegetable industry in Mekong countries from breeding resources,factor endowments,and technological level,etc. aspects;systematically discussed the opportunities and challenges facing China’s cooperation with 5 Mekong countries in vegetable industry,and on this basis put forward general idea and suggestions for deepening cooperation between China and the Mekong countries in vegetable industry.At the macro level,this paper effectively responded to the action requirements of‘ Belt and Road’initiative‘ to strengthen existing multilateral mechanism related to agriculture’;while at the micro level,it provided path reference for Chinese agricultural research institutions or agriculture-related enterprises to invest in vegetable industry at the Mekong region.

    Abstract:Atrazine is a triazine herbicide,which can control annual monocotyledon and dicotyledon weeds,and also inhibit certain perennial weeds.It is one of the most important herbicides for corn production in the world.It can also be used in sorghum,sugarcane,fruit trees,etc.It is moderately persistent in the environment and can remain in the atmosphere,water,and soil environment.It is easy to cause different degrees of pesticide damage to subsequent crops such as rape,Chinese cabbage,fi eld mustard,cucumber,pepper,cowpea,and okra.At the same time,it causes harm to natural ecosystems and human health.This paper reviewed the microbial degradation of atrazine;introduced the microbial degradation techniques of herbicide atrazine from 3 aspects,including bioaugmentation,biostimulation,and immobilization;compiled and summarized the microbial groups being confi rmed in previous studies;clarifi ed the microbial degradationmechanism of atrazine from 2 aspects:degradation process and degradation genes;analyzed the factors affecting the microbial degradation of atrazine and prospected the future research direction.

    Abstract:The skin color of immature fruit is an important external trait of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.).An F2 population was constructed with the cucumber green immature fruit color material CSIVF0254 and whiteimmature fruit color material CSIVF0021 as the parental lines to study the inheritance pattern and gene mappingof the cucumber immature fruit pericarp color genes.The results showed that green immature fruit color wasincompletely dominant to white immature fruit color,and the major loci Qcsc3.1 and Qcsc5.1 were repeatedlydetected in the spring and autumn of 2022.Qcsc3.1 was localized between markers InDel3842-InDel4076 onchromosome 3,with the LOD value of 17.19 and 24.92,and contribution rates of 36.38%-39.86%.Qcsc5.1 was mapped between markers InDel2342-SSR06660 on chromosome 5,with the LOD value of 13.51 and23.11,and contribution rates of 28.53%-34.19%,respectively.Five genes were predicted via biologicalinformation analysis and qRT-PCR analysis.The results of this study can lay a good foundation for the finemapping of genes regulating fruit skin color and molecular marker-assisted selection and breeding.

    To identify the flavour differences of high-quality dried peppers from different regions,volatile metabolites of 13 dried peppers were detected using headspace solid-phase microextraction(HS-SPME)coupled with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS).The results showed that limonene,aromandendrene and ethyl acetate were the main excellent volatile substances in most dried peppers.The volatile metabolites of Guizhou ‘Huangyangxiaomila’were different from other accessions in this study,and the main volatile metabolite component of Guizhou ‘Huangyangxiaomila’is β-ocimene.The overall content of excellent volatile flavor substances in peppers planted in Guizhou was higher than that of non-Guizhou peppers.Among the tested materials,Guizhou ‘Zidantou’had the highest content of volatile flavor substances and the best quality.

    Abstract:This study evaluates the impact of varying phosphorus fertilizer levels on the growth,yield,fruit quality of cucumbers,and soil enzyme activity following a wheat cover crop. A pot trial was conducted using cucumber(Cucumis sativus L.)with fi ve phosphorus application levels:P100(conventional application),P75(75% of conventional application),P50(50% of conventional application),P25(25% of conventional application),and P0(no application). Results demonstrated that compared with no cover crop treatments,the wheat cover crop positively infl uenced stem diameter,total fresh biomass,total dry biomass,yield,sugar-acid ratio,soluble protein,and VC content while reducing nitrate levels and enhancing soil enzyme activity. Notably,in the wheat cover crop treatments,the P50 treatment yielded the highest production of 1.78 kg per plant,with peak values in stem diameter,total fresh biomass,and total dry biomass observed at 20、35 days post-transplanting. Soluble protein content was the highest in P25 treatment,while P50 treatment exhibited a hi gher VC content and sugar-acid ratio along with a lower nitrate level. Additionally,at 20、35 days after transplanting,urease,acid phosphatase,and alkaline phosphatase activities were significantly higher in P50 than P100. By 50 days after transplanting,sucrase activity in P25 and P50,and catalase activity in P0 and P50 were relatively high and signifi cantly exceeded those in P100. Thus,under wheat cover crop conditions,reducing phosphorus ferti lizer to 8.71 g per plant can effectively enhance cucumber growth,yield,fruit quality,and soil e nzyme activity,making it the optimal phosphorus application level for continuous cucumber cropping.

    This study aimed to identify strains of the tomato spotted wilt virus(TSWV)infecting peppers in Guizhou,and establish rapid detection techniques,specifically TSWV loop-mediated isothermal amplification(LAMP).We collected Twelve pepper samples suspected of TSWV infection and ten samples of Western flower thrips from major pepper-producing regions in Guizhou Province.These samples were analyzed
    using RT-PCR,LAMP detection techniques and hylogenetic tree construction based on TSWV-N genes.Molecular diagnosis and sequencing results confirmed the presence of TSWV in the suspected pepper samples.Additionally,he pathogenic isolates of TSWV in peppers from the Xifeng area of Guizhou exhibited a striking 99% similarity to Guizhou tomato TSWV-N isolates.Building upon these findings,a TSWV rapid detection
    system for pepper crops and the vector Thrips occidentalis was successfully established,providing strong support for the monitoring and control of pepper virus diseases in Guizhou.

    China has become the second largest producer of sweet corn.According to driving factors and limiting factors for sweet corn industry development,combined with official data and market comprehensive analysis,the prediction for sweet corn cultivated area in China will increase to 383 000 hm2 in 2026.The average annual growth rate(CAGR) will be 2.5%.In future,the planting ratio of high value sweet corn variety will gradually increase.According to market changing tendency,this paper classified the requirement details of varietal characters and cultivation characters by different market segments.This paper also put forward strategy and suggestions countering major problems and bottlenecks faced by development of sweet corn industry.

    Vegetable is an important part of the ‘Vegetable Basket Project’.In 2023,the market price of vegetables basically conformed to the regularity of seasonal fluctuations throughout the year,with running at a high level,and the decline in vegetable prices in summer was not obvious as usual years.Affected by several cold-air outbreaks and compensatory rising factors,it is expected that the price of vegetables in winter and spring will rise significantly compared with previous years,and may remain high for a period of time after the Spring Festival.Considering that the overall price of vegetables in 2023 is high,the area in the field has increased than 2022,the supply of shelf-stable vegetables such as cabbage and radish exceeds demand,the vegetables in the northern facilities and the vegetables of ‘southern vegetables-northern transportation’ are on the market steadily,and the cold-air outbreak in some producing areas has been affected but the possibility of resuming supply is high,and it is expected that the supply of vegetables in the spring of 2024 will be generally guaranteed.Overall,in the context of loose total vegetable supply and optimal structure,it is recommended to accelerate the development of characteristic vegetables,optimize the layout of facility vegetables,promote green transformation,stabilize the supply chain,upgrade the industrial chain,and give full play to the important role of the vegetable industry in promoting rural revitalization.

    Such protected structures as greenhouses provide good environmental conditions for vegetable growth and quality.To improve and build new-typed,high cost-effective protected structure combining both farm machines and techniques is the essential way to push forward the high-quality development of protected vegetables.In this article,we summarized the status quo of old-typed greenhouse and tunnel structures in northwestern,northern,northeastern and eastern China.We stated the different types of the commonly-built new single greenhouses,tunnels and multi-span greenhouses,the types of wall materials for greenhouses,heat preservation covering materials,and the types of energy utilization.We analyzed the major existing problems in the protected structures and environmental control of China’s vegetable growth. In this article we also proposed to choose the greenhouse designing structures according to regional environment,crop differences and the managing grower,and to integrate the new structures,new equipment and new materials in protected structure designing.We suggest that greenhouse transformation schemes be made so as to reduce the fund for building new greenhouse;that protected facilities with excellent performances be built under effective organization and with the leading of good policies,and that more projects and programs for technological breakthrough be approved to solve the key problems existing in protected structure designing and building.

    Abatract:Recombiant inbred line(RIL)was constructed by combination between pod pepper D71and sweet pepper D72.This paper measured 9 characters of RIL population,including single fruit weight,fruit length,fruit shoulder width,fruit width,fruit hardness,pulp thickness,fruit stalk thickness,leafwidth and leaf length under 2 different growing environments and also analyzed their genetic rules.The resultsshowed that under 2 habitats the absolute values of skewness coefficient and kurtosis coefficient of majoritytraits were less than 1,indicating these traits had typical quantitative characteristics,and each population trait was affected by polygenic control.The average value of variation coefficient of each trait ranged from 16.73%-52.06%,in which the average value of variation coefficient of single fruit weight was the largest,being52.06%,while that of leaf length was minimum,only 16.73%.The range of heritability of population traitswas 42.03%-51.21%,of which there were significant or extremely significant positive correlations among manyfruit traits. While,there were significant or extremely significant negative correlations between fruit hardnessand the other traits.Under different growing environments,population trait expression under E1 was betterthan under E2. Analysis of variation phenomenon indicated that there was abundant genetic variation within thisRIL population.Heritability analysis showed that the fruit traits of pepper were influenced by the combinationeffect of genotype and environment type,and the influence of environment type was slightly higher than thatof genotype.The distribution of various characters of RIL population under these 2 growth environments allpresented normal or approximately normal. These characters were typical quantitative trait inheritance.Theabove results can provide reference for selective breeding of new pepper varieties.

    To explore the role of the StCDFs transcription factor family in potato stress response,bioinformatics methods were employed to analyze the phylogenetic relationship,gene structure,conserved motifs,cis-acting elements,tissue-specific expression,hormone and stress response of StCDFs.Simultaneously,transcriptome data and qRT-PCR were used to analyze the transcription levels of StCDFs after diff erent cold-tolerant varieties were treated with low temperature stress.A total of 5 StCDFs members(StCDF1,StCDF2,StCDF3,StCDF4,StCDF5)were identified in potato.The CDF family of potato is closely related to tomato.The analysis of gene structure and conserved Motif revealed that Motif 1 was the most widely distributed and conserved in the potato StCDF.Cis-acting element analysis showed that the upstream promoter of StCDFs gene contained a wide range of hormone and stress response elements,and stress response elements accounted for the largest proportion.Tissue-specifi c expression analysis revealed that StCDFs exhibited distinct expression patterns in diff erent tissues.Additionally,most of these genes were found to respond to stress treatment.Based on the RNA-seq data,the StCDFs were found to respond positively to low temperature stress treatment.Subsequently,the qRT-PCR was performed to explore the expression levels of StCDFs and found that the expression levels of StCDF1,StCDF2 and StCDF3 were up-regulated under low temperature stress.

    Abstract:In the past 10 years,planting areas and outputs of vegetable in China have increased year byyear.Consumer demand also has risen significantly.The aggregate supply and total demand are basically inbalance,and market operation is generally stable.The operation of vegetable market has 5 characteristics,including seasonal fluctuation and origin conversion,etc.In 2023,vegetable market production and sales inChina are flourishing.The market price is running at a high level.The whole year average wholesale priceall over China for 28 kinds of vegetable,key monitored by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs is thehighest during the past 10 years.Looking forward to 2024,vegetable aggregate supply and total demand arebasically balanced with a slight balance.The vegetable market is mainly confronted with 5 risk points:climatechange,planting intention,production and marketing connection,etc. It is suggested that in future,theconstruction of‘ vegetable basket’,marketing at vegetable production areas,balanced listing,monitoring andearly warning,policies support,should be further strengthened,so as to strive for realizing a stable supplyand price and high quality development of the vegetable industry.

    In order to obtain high efficient bio-control fungus for pepper root rot,and isolate fungi strain from rhizosphere soil of healthy pepper plants,this paper conducted confrontation culture with Fusarium solani;and screened the antagonistic strain M20210527-2 with 79.29% inhibition rate on Fusarium solanum.Combined with morphology and ITS molecular biology analysis,strain M20210527-2 was identified as Trichoderma harzianum.Strain M20210527-2 could quickly compete for growth space and secrete antifungal metabolites for effective inhibition on Fusarium solani growth by hyperparasitism.Strain M20210527-2 treatment could relatively increase the control efficiency on pepper root rot as high as 94.25% and also significantly reduce its incidence and severity. Studies on culture conditions indicated that the optimum growth temperature for strain M20210527-2 was 25 ℃;optimums pH was 6-7;optimum growth carbon sources were sucrose,glucose,and starch;optimum growth nitrogen sources were peptone,yeast powder and beef extract.

    Aiming at the lack of stable and highly polymorphic SNP markers of peppers,KASP markers were designed at a spacing of 20 cM according to the correspondence between the high-density genetic map and the physical map of peppers,and a total of 234 pairs of KASP primers were designed.F2 isolated population screening was used to obtain 159 pairs of primers with polymorphism,and the success rate of labeling design was 67.9%.Using a group of 207 peppers from 14 introduction sites,the polymorphism and stability of primers were verified for high-throughput system transformation and labeling.The polymorphism of 141 selected markers was detected by high-throughput genotyping system,of which 130 KASP markers were successfully typed,with a success rate of 92%,and the number of markers with polymorphism in pepper materials varied from 24-129,and the corresponding polymorphism site percentage range was 18.46%-99.23%.A set of KASP markers containing 130 pepper KASP markers was developed and evenly distributed on the 12 chromosomes of peppers,and through the typing of 14 domestic pepper varieties from the source of introduction,it was proved that this set of marker polymorphisms is highly polymorphic and universal,and is suitable for high-throughput genotyping of pepper varieties.

    Large scale gutter connected glass greenhouse has large monomer scale and strong ability for environment regulation.Soilless culture technology is generally adopted,which can break through the constraints of resources and environment,and greatly expand the possibility boundary of agricultural production.These greenhouses are typical representatives of modern facility planting industry and recently have been rapidly developed in China.Based on investigation of existing situation,and combined with document analysis,this paper summarized the development characteristics of large scale gutter connected glass greenhouses in recent years,such as regional distribution expanding to the central and western regions,structure standardization,equipment localization,and management digitization,etc.The paper also analyzed the existing defect sites in scientific planning and top-level design during development process,andsome problems as:key core technology and equipment mainly relying on import,low unit output rate andhigh operating cost,affecting the efficiency and sustainability of greenhouse production,etc.Besides,the paper put forward suggestions for future development,including selection of scientific and reasonable site,construction according to local conditions,moderate strict approval,amplifying research and development for key technology,reducing investment and operating cost,strengthening personal training,focusing on brand building,and enhancing ability for achieving sustainable development,etc.

    To screen the genes related to the growth and expansion of yam tubers,bioinformatics methods were used to analyzed the suppression subtractive hybridization(SSH)libraries at different developmental stages of yam tubers in the early and middle stages.The results showed that the diff erentially expressed genes(DEGs)sequences in the early and middle stages of the development of yam tubers mainly involved nine categories,of which developmental regulation accounts for the largest proportion(27.1%),followed by cellular tissue structure(14.0%),material metabolism(11.2%),and biosynthesis(4.7%).Preliminary screening has identified some genes,including F-box associated,carbonic anhydrase(CAs),nucleoside diphosphate kinase(NDPK),amino acid permease,glycosyl transferase,and alpha amylase.These genes may be related to cell proliferation,elongation,hormone metabolism,acid-base environment regulation,and functional metabolite regulation,and are involved in regulating tuber growth and expansion in yam.

    In order to select tomato varieties with excellent quality and suitable for consumer demand,15 palatable tomato varieties were used as materials to determine the relevant indexes of fruit commercial quality and nutritional quality,and the comprehensive quality of each variety was evaluated and compared by using the method of the affiliation function,correlation analysis of genetic variations,principal component analysis and cluster analysis.The results showed that there were large differences in quality and taste among the varieties;genetic variation and correlation analysis showed that quality traits such as soluble sugar content,sugar-acid ratio,total phenolic content and tomato taste were closely related;the results obtained by using principal component analysis had a high degree of similarity with those obtained by manual tasting evaluation and analysis by the subordinate function method,and three varieties with better overall quality were selected by combining the subordinate function method and the principal component analysis method P124,P190 and P209,with high taste evaluation scores,high nutrient contents of lycopene,VC,flavonoids and total phenols,high soluble sugar content and suitable sugar-acid ratio,good taste and rich flavor,and good promotion value.

    In order to further improve the light and temperature performance of Chinese solar greenhouse,and enable the over winter vegetable production in areas north of 50° N with extreme temperature below -40 ℃,yet having no auxiliary heating,this paper proposed a ‘double film-double blanket-double chamber’(D-FBC)high insulation greenhouse after reserch innovation.The lighting roof angle of the greenhouse reached 53.82°,and horizontal projection ratio of front and rear roofs was less than 1∶1.The overall lighting and insulation capacity of the greenhouse were significantly improved.At the same time,the supporting greenhouse basic insulation + lighting surface ‘double film-double blanket-double chamber’thermal insulation + back wall water column passive heat storage + gas water heat exchange ground soil active heat storage and release system all had helped maintaining the greenhouse indoor temperature above 9 ℃,even when the outdoor extreme temperatures was below -48 ℃.Thus,safe over winter vegetable production in Tahe County,Heilongjiang Province,at 52° north latitude was successfully realized.

    The effects of different LED light qualities on growth,nutritional quality and antioxidant property of mustard sprouts were studied using‘Shaguodiqingcai’mustard as material,which were treated with five treatments including white light(control),green light,red light,blue light and red/blue light(R∶B = 3∶2).The results showed that compared with control(white light),blue light promoted the growth of mustard sprouts,improved the nutritional quality,and enhanced the antioxidant ability.Specifically,blue light significantly increased the plant fresh mass,plant dry mass,edible fresh mass and output rate of mustard sprouts,improved the contents of soluble protein,soluble sugar,free amino acid,VC,anthocyanin,total phenolic and total flavonoid,decreased the crude fibre content,enhanced the DPPH free radical scavenging ability,and upregulated the gene expression levels of BjPAL and BjCHI that play vital roles in synthesis pathway of phenols.Using the membership function method to comprehensively assess,it was found that blue light made mustard sprouts get the highest membership function value,thus was the best light environment regulatory illuminant to cultivate mustard sprouts.
