1 Current Situation,Existing Problems and Suggestions for Intensive Vegetable Seedling Culture Enterprises in Henan Province

As a big vegetable producing province,there is a larger demand for seedlings in Henan.This paper overviews the current situation for intensive vegetable seedling culture enterprises in Henan Province,summarizes the problems existing in seedling culture process,including weak seedling culture ability,simple facility and equipment,limited mechanized transplanting level,etc.The paper suggests to perfect the hardware facility for seedling culture in future development;strengthen the construction of hardware facility for seedling culture;upgrade scientific and technological support;reinforce cultivation of seedling base with special characteristics and standardization;continuousely improve supporting policies and strengthen project support,so as to help vegetable seedling industry to scale up,transform to pecialization,and promote development of facility agriculture modernization.

6 Brief Talk about Current Development Situation and Future of Facility Vegetables Mechanization in Beijing by ‘Shouguang Model’

During the ‘14th Five-Year Plan’period,Beijing will vigorously develop facility agriculture and raise facility mechanization rate to 55%.However,the mechanization level of the other production links except land tillage and preparation is generally low at present.It is urgent to take effective measures to improve the overall mechanization level of facility vegetables production.Through field visit and investigation on typical facility vegetable planting bases,and vegetable farmers in Shouguang,and agricultural machinery production and manufacturing enterprises of Shandong Province,this paper analyzed in-depth from the aspects of facility automatization,industrial clustering,variety specialization,production mechanization,and service socialization,etc.The paper also compared and summarized the current situation and future development direction of facility vegetables in Beijing;put forward countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects of promoting equipment support level,comprehensive mechanization level and socialized service level,so as to provide experience for developing mechanization of facility vegetables in Beijing.

12 Analysis on the Current Situation of Pesticide Registration on Garlic in China

Based on the data from China Pesticide Information Network,combined with the garlic related indicators of newly revised National Standards for Food Safety - Maximum Residue Limits for Pesticides in Food(GB 2763—2021),this paper combed the pesticides registered on garlic;and carried out statistical analysis on categories,quantities,control objects,dosage forms and toxicities,etc.The registered pesticides on garlic were focus on herbicides,followed by insecticides,and there was a serious shortage of fungicides. Only 18 effective components of the registered pesticides on garlic set a limit on quantity.The dosage forms of the registered esticides were relatively obsolescence and could not meet garlic requirements for “nutrient balance,pro-environment and healthy”,being unfavorable to green agricultural development and ecological environment security.There were still deficiencies in registrating esticide toxicity,needed to be improved.The paper suggested under the guidance of the 3 Directories to strengthen technical research,simplify registration procedures,speed up the pace of pesticide registration procedure,accelerate the pace of pesticide registration on garlic,and solve the issue of serious shortage pesticides for garlic pest control.

23 Research Progress on MYB Transcription Factors of Solanaceous Fruit Vegetable

The solanaceous fruit vegetable mainly include tomato,eggplant and pepper,which is an important part of vegetables of our country.The MYB transcription factors are one of the important transcription factors.This paper summarizes the identification and classification of the MYB transcription factors for the vegetable researchers in recent years,and summarized the regulation of MYB transcription factor on the synthesis of secondary metabolites such as anthocyanin and capsaicin,plant morphological development and biological or abiotic stress.To provide reference for the research of MYB transcription factors in solanaceous vegetables.

34 Molecular Detection and Identification of Tomato brown rugose fruit virus

RT-PCR detection was carried out on suspected viral disease samples collected from Honghe,Yunnan Province,Yinchuan,Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Shunyi,Beijing,by using 3 pairs of specific primers for Tomato brown rugose fruit virus(ToBRFV).Specific fragments with size as 812 bp,842 bp and 1 053 bp were amplified,respectively.Sequencing and phylogenetic analysis were conducted
on these amplified products.We discovered that ToBRFV isolates from Yunnan,Ningxia and Beijing were clustered on the same branch as ToBRFV isolates from Jordan,Italy and the Netherlands.They were closer relatives.Pathogenic result displayed that after inoculation,tomato plants showed the same symptoms as in the fields.Moreover,ToBRFV was detected in the diseased tissues,indicating that tomato plants collected from Yunnan,Ningxia and Beijing were all infected by ToBRFV.

41 Identification and Analysis of Melon Virus Disease Pathogen in Winter and Spring at Hainan Area
In order to verify the main pathogenic species and hazardous situation of melon virus disease in winter and spring at Hainan region,this paper collected 34 melon samples suspiciously infected by virus disease from main melon producing area during 2022—2023;identified and analyzed the type of melon virus disease pathogen by high-throughput sequencing and polymerase chain reaction(PCR)technology.Results showed that melon yellow spot virus(MYSV),watermelon silver mottle virus(WSMoV)and squash leaf curl China virus(SLCCNV)were prevalent in multiple melon producing areas in Hainan.Among them,the detection rate of MYSV was the highest,being 3.53%,followed by WSMoV with 61.76% detection rate.Moreover,MYSV and WSMoV presented compound infestation phenomenon,with 47.06% mixed infection rate.

48 Application Effect of Different Biodegradable Mulching Films in Pepper Fields Production

In order to promote the application of biodegradable mulching film in pepper fields production,and screen suitable biodegradable mulching film products,this study compared the application effects of 3 different components of full-biodegradable mulching film,including tarch-base,PBAT + PLA,PBAT + PLA + PHA in pepper fields production.The results showed that 2 black full-biodegradable mulch BM2 and BM3 with PBAT as their main ingredient could all have accelerating effects on pepper plant height,spread width,stem thickness,and root system dry weight.Moreover,all of them could significantly increase pepper yield.The increasing rates were 67.8% and 72.7%,respectively comparing with those of the CK.The degradation law of these 2 kinds mulch film were applicable to pepper fields production,and the residual film would not affect the plowing operation of farm machinery after closing the garden.During spring pepper fields production the black full-biodegradable mulch film with PBAT as its main component could be used at Wuhan area.

53 Effect of HCl Pretreatment on Anaerobic Digestion of Vegetable Straws
With cucumber straw,tomato straw and eggplant straw as raw materials,different concentrations of HCl(0.2,0.4,0.6,0.8 mol · L-1)were used as pretreatment reagents to explore the feasibility of HCl pretreatment in anaerobic digestion of vegetable straws.The results showed that HCl pretreatment could significantly increase the cumulative methane yields of vegetable straws,and the treatment of 0.6 mol · L-1 HCl was more economical and suitable.After pretreatment,the cumulative methane yields of cucumber straw,tomato straw and eggplant straw were 167.88,169.94 and 146.81 mL · g-1,which were 12.58%,30.97% and 18.68% higher than that of untreated groups,respectively.HCl pretreatment could effectively degrade cellulose and hemicellulose in vegetable straws,and the higher the oncentration,the greater the degradation rate.Especially,the degradation effect of hemicellulose was best,ranging from 14.08% to 43.68%.

60 Comparative Experiment Between Lotus True Seed and Rhizome Seedling Cultivation

In order to innovate the lotus seed reproduction technique and promote the application of lotus true seed technology,this paper took lotus pure line variety‘Wuyuezao’as material and conducted field comparative experiment between true seed and lotus rhizome seedlings production.The results showed that the purity of lotus true seed was 97.5%,which met the requirements of field production.During early growth stage,the plant height,petiole diameter,leaf long radius and short radius,number of standing leaves of true seed were smaller or less than those of rhizome seedlings.In the middle and late growth stages,the plant height,petiole diameter,leaf long radius and short radius of these 2 reproduction methods showed nonsignificant differences,while the number of standing leaves of true seedlings was significantly more than that of rhizome seedlings.The ripening time of lotus seedlings was 21 days later than that of rhizome seedlings.The whole lotus weight of true seed was lower than that of the rhizome seedlings,but the number of rhizomes per 667 m2(813.7)was significantly higher than that of the rhizome seedlings(593.6).Lotus root yields of these 2 reproduction patterns showed not significant difference.Moreover,comparing with conventional rhizome seedlings,the true seeds had the advantages of convenient transportation,low loss and less disease.

67 Analysis of Pod Wall Fiber Content and Composition in Different Bean Germplasm Resources

The fiber content of vegetable bean pod wall directly affects the taste quality and is an important indicator for variety selection.In order to study the content and composition of bean pod wall fiber in different germplasm resources,this experiment measured and analyzed the contents of crude cellulose,cellulose, hemicellulose and lignin in pod wall of 158 accessions bean commercial germplasm resources;and then tested the pod wall fiber content,lignin synthesis related enzyme activity and MDA content in 2 germplasm resources with high and low crude cellulose content at different development stages,respectively.The results showed that 158 accessions of bean germplasm resources could be divided into 3 categories according to their crude fiber content:the first category with high fiber content,the second one with medium fiber content and the third one with low fiber content.Lignin is the main factor causing bean pod wall fiber content increase.The higher the activity of superoxide dismutase(SOD),the more unfavorable to the accumulation of lignocellulose.The rising of malondialdehyde(MDA)and peroxidase(POD)enzyme activities can accelerate its lignification process.

77 Antifungal Activity of Celery Seed Three Times Ethanol Extracts on Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cucumerinum and Preliminary Analysis of Chemical Substances by GC-MS

In order to explicit the phytochemical constituents inhibiting Fusarium oxysporum f. sp.cucumerinum and contained in celery seed,this study took celery seed‘Jinnanshiqin No.1’as test material;adopted ethanol extraction method to obtain crude extract;then conducted column chromatography separation and purifi cation for 3 consecutive times;carried out test in dishes for the inhibition of Fusarium oxysporum f.sp.cucumerinum on obtained fl uid fraction;analyzed the optimal fl ow fraction obtained by the third chromatography using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS);and studied the kinds and components of phytochemicals inhibiting Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cucumerinum in the tertiary alcohols of celery seed.Results indicated that the different flow fractions of ethanol extract from celery seed obtained by 3 chromatographic separation could inhibit the mycelium growth and spore formation of Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. cucumerinum.The 4 optimal fractions were SE655,SE667,SE767 and SE777.Their inhibition rates for spore formation were 88.30%,87.82%,84.74%,86.24%,respectively;for mycelium growth were 25.21%,36.88%,35.95% and 25.81%,respectively.The GC-MS analysis showed that the kinds of bacteriostatic phytochemicals contained by the 4 optimal fractions were abundant with different contents.Tentatively,10 classes of 36 compounds were isolated and identified,including 9 kinds of alkanes,8 kinds of esters,6 kinds of organic acids,4 kinds of organic amines,3 kinds of phenolic compounds,2 kinds of aldehydes,1 kind of alcohol,1 kind of aromatic hydrocarbon,1 kind of heterocyclic compound and 1 kind of phytotoxic.Among them,the relative amounts of esters,organic amines and phenolic compounds were higher.

85 Effects of Black Soldier Fly Sandworm on Yield,Quality of Pakchoi and Soil Water-soluble Salt Content

In order to clarify the practical application effect of black soldier fly sandworm in vegetable production,this paper adopted potted method;took non-adding black soldier fly sandworm as the contrast;and studied the effect of adding different proportions of black soldier fly sandworm on pakchoi growth,yield, quality,soil fertility and water-soluble salt content.The results showed when the applying amount of black soldier fly sandworm was 2.5% and 5.0%,as a whole could promote the growth and yield of pakchoi.The other treatment except the applying rate being 2.5%,all the contents of VC and soluble sugar were significantly lower than those of the contrast,while the nitrate content was significantly higher than that in the contrast.With the increase in application amount of black soldier fly sandworm,the soil pH showed a downward trend,and contents of organic matter,alkali-hydrolyzable nitrogen,available phosphorus,available potassium and water-soluble salt showed an overall upward trend.To sum up,2.5% black soldier fly sandworm had the best applying effect on pakchoi under the conditions of this test.

92 Effects of Intercropping Halophytes on Potato Yield,Improvement of Salinealkali Land and Economic Benefits

Taking monocultured potato as the contrast,this paper set up 2 treatments of potato intercropping seepweed,potato intercropping alfalfa;and studied the effects of saline-alkali potato intercropping halophytes on potato yield,improvement of saline-alkali land and economic benefits.The results showed that comparing with the contrast,there was no significant differences on potato yield between potato intercropping seepweed treatment and potato intercropping alfalfa treatment,but the rate of commercial potato was increased significantly.The total contents of soil soluble salt were significantly lower than that of the contrast.Comparing with the contrast,total soil water soluble salt quantities in potato intercropping seepweed treatment and potato intercropping alfalfa treatment were reduced by 5.34% and 7.28%,respectively.Meanwhile,the contents of soil available nitrogen,rapidly available potassium and saline ions as K+,Ca2+,Mg2+ and Cl- in soil were significantly decreased comparing with the contrast.The soil cation exchange capacity,contents of SO42- and HCO3- were significantly increased,while there was no obvious differences in contents of available phosphorus and Na+ with those of the contrast.The intercropping model significantly improved economic benefits.The revenue of potato intercropping seepweed treatment and potato intercropping alfalfa treatment were increased by 227 83.5 yuan and 3 424.5 yuan per hm2,comparing with those of the contrast.In conclusion,planting models of intercropping seepweed or alfalfa were suitable for potato production in saline-alkali land.

97 A New Multi-resistant High-quality Fruit Tomato F1 Hybrid—‘Jingfan309’

‘Jingfan 309’is a multi-resistant,pink-fruited tomato F1 hybrid with delicious taste,which is developed by crossing inbred line‘TB0286’as the female parent and the inbred line ‘TB0619’ as the male parent.The hybrid belongs to indeterminate growth type and is early-ripening.The fruit is round type with green shoulder.Its single fruit weight is 80-120 g.It tastes sour and sweet,with rich flavor and aroma.The soluble solids content is 7.1%,lycopene content is 31.0 mg · kg-1,and VC content is 158.2 mg · kg-1 .‘Jingfan 309’harbors Ty1,Ty3a,Mi-1 and Sm resistance loci.It is resistant to ToMV and gray leaf spot disease,high resistant to TYLCV and southern root knot nematode disease.Its yield is about 67.5 t · hm-2.It is suitable for protected cultivation in northern China,such as Beijing,Tianjin,Shandong,Hebei and Liaoning.

100 A New Processing Linear Pepper Variety—‘Qianla No.11’

‘Qianla No.11’is a new kind of three-line hybrid linear pepper bred by crossing cytoplasm male sterile line‘7206A’ as female parent and inbred line‘219-3C’as male parent.Its fruit is downward and linear,about 21.5 cm in length,1.2 cm in width,10.39 g in average single fruit weight.The VC,capsaicin and dry matter content are 1 660 mg · kg-1,213 mg · kg-1 and 14.3%,respectively.The variety is fit for chopped chilli processing.It has resistance to blight and anthracnose,and high adaptability in spring of Guizhou area with over 19.5 t · hm-2 in yield.

103 A New Fresh Sweet Corn F1 Hybrid—‘Guitian 612’

‘Guitian 612’is a new fresh sweet corn F1 hybrid developed by crossing sweet corn inbred line‘ATL122’as female parent and‘GTL990’as male parent.The plant type is semi compact,and the plant grows strongly.The growth period is 80-90 days for spring sowing to harvest fresh ears,and 70-75 days for autumn sowing.The fresh fruit ear is cylindrical,the ear length is 18-20 cm,the number of ear rows is 14-20 rows,the grain is yellow,and the yield of fresh fruit ear is 12.0-16.5 t · hm-2.In the south(southeast)area trial,88.0 points were obtained from the tasting and identification,including 19.2% of water soluble total sugar,9.0% of reducing sugar,and 13.6% of skin residue.In the south(southwest)area trial,86.6 points were obtained,including 16.2% of water soluble total sugar,5.9% of reducing sugar and 11.8% of skin residue.It is suitable for planting in fresh corn areas in southern China.

106 A New Chinese Kale F1 Hybrid—‘Xibaojielan’

Xibaojielan’is a new Chinese kale F1 hybrid developed by crossing self-incompatible line‘C09’as female parent and‘D03’as male parent.‘Xibaojielan’is an early-medium maturing cultivar.The plant has strong growth vigor and is of erect plant type,with 29.4 cm in height and 30.0 cm in width.The plant has white flowers,dark green leaves,and green sprouts.The leaves are suborbicular,slightly wrinkled,covered with a small amount of wax powder,with 21.4 cm in length,21.5 cm in width,and 8.0 cm in petiole length.Its sprouts are stout and uniform,with medium internodes,and the major sprout is 27.5 cm in height,2.2 cm in diameter,and about 155 g in weight.Its VC content is 1 405.0 mg · kg-1,soluble solid content is 4.70%.It has moderate resistance to black spot disease.The yield is about 19.5 t · hm-2.It is suitable to be cultivated in the plain areas of Guangdong Province.
