    Abstract:Atrazine is a triazine herbicide,which can control annual monocotyledon and dicotyledon weeds,and also inhibit certain perennial weeds.It is one of the most important herbicides for corn production in the world.It can also be used in sorghum,sugarcane,fruit trees,etc.It is moderately persistent in the environment and can remain in the atmosphere,water,and soil environment.It is easy to cause different degrees of pesticide damage to subsequent crops such as rape,Chinese cabbage,fi eld mustard,cucumber,pepper,cowpea,and okra.At the same time,it causes harm to natural ecosystems and human health.This paper reviewed the microbial degradation of atrazine;introduced the microbial degradation techniques of herbicide atrazine from 3 aspects,including bioaugmentation,biostimulation,and immobilization;compiled and summarized the microbial groups being confi rmed in previous studies;clarifi ed the microbial degradationmechanism of atrazine from 2 aspects:degradation process and degradation genes;analyzed the factors affecting the microbial degradation of atrazine and prospected the future research direction.

    Abstract:The skin color of immature fruit is an important external trait of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.).An F2 population was constructed with the cucumber green immature fruit color material CSIVF0254 and whiteimmature fruit color material CSIVF0021 as the parental lines to study the inheritance pattern and gene mappingof the cucumber immature fruit pericarp color genes.The results showed that green immature fruit color wasincompletely dominant to white immature fruit color,and the major loci Qcsc3.1 and Qcsc5.1 were repeatedlydetected in the spring and autumn of 2022.Qcsc3.1 was localized between markers InDel3842-InDel4076 onchromosome 3,with the LOD value of 17.19 and 24.92,and contribution rates of 36.38%-39.86%.Qcsc5.1 was mapped between markers InDel2342-SSR06660 on chromosome 5,with the LOD value of 13.51 and23.11,and contribution rates of 28.53%-34.19%,respectively.Five genes were predicted via biologicalinformation analysis and qRT-PCR analysis.The results of this study can lay a good foundation for the finemapping of genes regulating fruit skin color and molecular marker-assisted selection and breeding.

    Abstract:This study evaluates the impact of varying phosphorus fertilizer levels on the growth,yield,fruit quality of cucumbers,and soil enzyme activity following a wheat cover crop. A pot trial was conducted using cucumber(Cucumis sativus L.)with fi ve phosphorus application levels:P100(conventional application),P75(75% of conventional application),P50(50% of conventional application),P25(25% of conventional application),and P0(no application). Results demonstrated that compared with no cover crop treatments,the wheat cover crop positively infl uenced stem diameter,total fresh biomass,total dry biomass,yield,sugar-acid ratio,soluble protein,and VC content while reducing nitrate levels and enhancing soil enzyme activity. Notably,in the wheat cover crop treatments,the P50 treatment yielded the highest production of 1.78 kg per plant,with peak values in stem diameter,total fresh biomass,and total dry biomass observed at 20、35 days post-transplanting. Soluble protein content was the highest in P25 treatment,while P50 treatment exhibited a hi gher VC content and sugar-acid ratio along with a lower nitrate level. Additionally,at 20、35 days after transplanting,urease,acid phosphatase,and alkaline phosphatase activities were significantly higher in P50 than P100. By 50 days after transplanting,sucrase activity in P25 and P50,and catalase activity in P0 and P50 were relatively high and signifi cantly exceeded those in P100. Thus,under wheat cover crop conditions,reducing phosphorus ferti lizer to 8.71 g per plant can effectively enhance cucumber growth,yield,fruit quality,and soil e nzyme activity,making it the optimal phosphorus application level for continuous cucumber cropping.

    To explore the role of the StCDFs transcription factor family in potato stress response,bioinformatics methods were employed to analyze the phylogenetic relationship,gene structure,conserved motifs,cis-acting elements,tissue-specific expression,hormone and stress response of StCDFs.Simultaneously,transcriptome data and qRT-PCR were used to analyze the transcription levels of StCDFs after diff erent cold-tolerant varieties were treated with low temperature stress.A total of 5 StCDFs members(StCDF1,StCDF2,StCDF3,StCDF4,StCDF5)were identified in potato.The CDF family of potato is closely related to tomato.The analysis of gene structure and conserved Motif revealed that Motif 1 was the most widely distributed and conserved in the potato StCDF.Cis-acting element analysis showed that the upstream promoter of StCDFs gene contained a wide range of hormone and stress response elements,and stress response elements accounted for the largest proportion.Tissue-specifi c expression analysis revealed that StCDFs exhibited distinct expression patterns in diff erent tissues.Additionally,most of these genes were found to respond to stress treatment.Based on the RNA-seq data,the StCDFs were found to respond positively to low temperature stress treatment.Subsequently,the qRT-PCR was performed to explore the expression levels of StCDFs and found that the expression levels of StCDF1,StCDF2 and StCDF3 were up-regulated under low temperature stress.

    To screen the genes related to the growth and expansion of yam tubers,bioinformatics methods were used to analyzed the suppression subtractive hybridization(SSH)libraries at different developmental stages of yam tubers in the early and middle stages.The results showed that the diff erentially expressed genes(DEGs)sequences in the early and middle stages of the development of yam tubers mainly involved nine categories,of which developmental regulation accounts for the largest proportion(27.1%),followed by cellular tissue structure(14.0%),material metabolism(11.2%),and biosynthesis(4.7%).Preliminary screening has identified some genes,including F-box associated,carbonic anhydrase(CAs),nucleoside diphosphate kinase(NDPK),amino acid permease,glycosyl transferase,and alpha amylase.These genes may be related to cell proliferation,elongation,hormone metabolism,acid-base environment regulation,and functional metabolite regulation,and are involved in regulating tuber growth and expansion in yam.

    Zhangshugang Chili has a cultivation history of over 200 years,this paper introduces the origins of‘Zhangshugang Chili’tender fruits,discusses the mechanisms that contribute to its superior taste qualities,the current status of the industry,and the challenges it encountered.To address these challenges,efforts have been directed towards cultivating new varieties of tender fruit pepper that can meet diverse market demands,along with developing techniques for high-yield cultivation of tender fruit peppers.These new varieties have been widely promoted and adopted across various regions,realizing a year-round supply of tender fruit peppers.As a result,‘Zhangshugang Chili’ has been elevated from a local brand to be nationally renowned,marking a significanttransition from a regional variety of tender pepper to a high-end brand known for its exceptional quality.

    This study analyzed the current fertilization status and fertilization effects on major leafy vegetables in China based on literature. The rates of nitrogen,phosphorus,potassium recommendation and the fertilization effects including the relative yield,the yield increase,the yield increase rate,the yield response,and agronomic efficiency of nutrients were discussed. The limiting factors affecting leafy vegetable yield are mainly nitrogen,followed by potassium,and then phosphorus. Recommended fertilization in leafy vegetables reduced the amount of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizer,increased the amount of potassium fertilizer,while increased the yield compared to conventional fertilization used by farmers. Therefore,suitable fertilizer recommendation method for leafy vegetables is an effective way to save fertilizer and improve efficiency.

    This study used 273 chilli pepper germplasm resources as materials and employed coefficient of variation,diversity index,correlation,principal component and cluster analyses to evaluate the main agronomic traits of peppers.The results showed that the average coefficient of variation for 17 important agronomic traits in 273 chili pepper germplasm resources was 19.99%-107.16%.The difference in single fruit weight between the materials is the largest,with a coefficient of variation of 107.16%.The diversity index for fruit number per plant was the highest,with a value of 1.97.There is a high correlation between the 13 main agronomic traits.The main factors affecting the variation of chili pepper traits are fruit transverse diameter,the shape of fruit top,placenta size,and green ripe fruit color.Principal component analysis of 13 major agronomic traits into 4 principal components,with a cumulative contribution rate of 59.92%,which respectively reflected fruit transverse diameter,the shape of fruit top,placenta size,and green ripe fruit color.This study obtained the top 10 chili pepper germplasm materials through comprehensive score.The top three chili pepper germplasm resources in the rankings are thin skinned peppers T302,T281,and T301 from Yunnan.Their fruit number per plant,single fruit weight,the longitudinal diameter and transverse diameter of fruits are all relatively high.Cluster analysis divided 273 chili pepper germplasm materials into 4 groups,effectively distinguishing different chili pepper materials.

    There existed significant geospatial dislocation between production and consumption regions of tomato products. This condition enabled the tomato products adjusting supply and demand between different countries or regions through international trade.Thus,a network structure despending on and influencing each other was gradually formed. As one of the 3 major producing areas of tomato products,China is a big exporter of tomato products. Based on globle trade data of tomato products from 2000—2022,this paper studied the characteristics and evolution trend of global tomato products trade network using social network analysis method.In addition,the paper put forward the challenges faced by China’s tomato products trade at present,including price advantages weakening and increased uncertainty in export markets. The paper also put forward some countermeasures and suggestions for China to speed up the construction of tomato products strong trading power.

    In order to further enhance the anti-risk ability of ginger industry and increase rural household income,on the basis of studying China’s ginger planting input-output,this paper conducted comparative analysis on diff erent scale of operation,diff erent age of farmers,and planting cost and benefi t.At the same time,the paper also analyzed the factors aff ecting the cost and income fl uctuation of ginger planting.The results showed that the ginger price fl uctuation was one of the most important factors causing the instability of income. Besides,the instability of ginger yield also had greater impact on profi ts. The scale effi ciency of ginger was not signifi cant. Labor cost rose sharply along with the increase in scale,leading to a drop in profi ts.Judging from the cost point of view,the older farmers adopted management strategy of reducing investment and mitigating risk,which had become an obstacle to the high-quality development of ginger.On account of these,the paper suggested to develop ginger featured insurance,reducing management risk of farmer household;developing futures market,stabilizing ginger price;increasing investment in research and development of small machinery for ginger;and to improve the scale effi ciency of ginger industry through service scale.

    To reveal the potential eff ects of Phytophthora capsici on the colonization ability of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)in pepper roots and the role of Mollicutes/Mycoplasma-related endobacteria(MRE)in promoting pepper resistance to disease stress in host AMF,three AMF species symbiotic with MRE,namely Funneliformis mosseae(Fm),Rhizophagus clarus(Rc),and Claroideoglomus etunicatum(Ce),as well as one AMF species without MRE,Rhizophagus intraradices(Ri),had been selected as test materials.A symbiotic colonization system between AMF and pepper plants had been established through pot cultivation.Subsequently,P. capsici had been inoculated into the rhizosphere of pepper plants using the challenge inoculation method,and changes in the activities of chitinase and phenylalanine ammonia lyase(PAL)in pepper roots had been detected.The results had indicated that P. capsici could affect the colonization of AMF in pepper roots,and diff erent AMF species had varying colonization abilities in pepper roots.After challenging inoculation with P. capsici for 6 days,the colonization rates of Fm,Rc,and Ce symbiotic with MRE in pepper plants had been signifi cantly higher than that of Ri without MRE symbiosis.The activities of chitinase and PAL in pepper roots colonized by AMF had been signifi cantly enhanced compared to the control.After challenging inoculation with P. capsici for 6 days,the chitinase activities in pepper plants inoculated with Fm,Rc,and Ce symbiotic with MRE had increased by 10.54%,17.00%,and 13.20%,respectively,compared to those inoculated with Ri.The PAL activities had increased by 12.49%,3.84%,and 10.03%,respectively.The symbiosis and interaction between MRE and AMF may be potential factors contributing to diff erences in the colonization rates of diff erent AMF species in host plant roots and their ability to induce host resistance to disease stress.

    Abstract:The watermelon industry in Laos developed by relying on Chinese production technologyand Chinese market,is a representative of agricultural cooperation between China and ASEAN under ‘theBelt and Road’ background.The climate of Laos is conducive to watermelon cultivation in early spring.Itcan better fill the supply gap of early spring watermelon in China.The total cost of watermelon production inLaos is about 18 000-39 000 yuan · hm-2 lower than those in similar climate areas in China,such as Hainan.The opening of China-Laos railway also reduces the cost of transporting watermelon in Laos,and shorten thetransportation time.At the same time,watermelon production in Laos has backward cultivation technique andthere are fewer melon industrial parks.With the influx of resources from China,including talents,superiorvarieties,good law and fund,and‘the Belt and Road’channel construction continuous to develop to the Zhongxialiao Plain area.A perfect watermelon industry chain will be established to promote the developmentof watermelon industry in Laos.

    山东省青岛市平度地区生产的樱桃番茄因其独特的口感品质,深受消费者喜爱。平度市在20世纪90年代开始种植樱桃番茄,并积累了丰富的种植经验和管理技术。近年来平度市樱桃番茄产业发展较快,栽培面积已达0.13万hm2以上,年产值高达14亿元。然而,产业快速发展过程中劳动力成本增长较快、标准化体系不完善、品牌带动力不强等问题较为突出,制约产业高质量发展。通过对平度地区樱桃番茄产业调研,分析了平度市樱桃番茄的产业现状,详细阐述了其独特的栽培环境、创新栽培技术和模式、适宜的樱桃番茄品种、多元化生产组织形式、灵活多样的营销模式、政府大力支持和引导等六大产业发展优势,并针对产业发展中存在的问题和需求提出了产业发展建议。

    DNA was extracted from single seed as well as seedlings of seven vegetables,including of cabbage,Chinese cabbage,mustard,onion,cucumber,tomato and pepper using magnetic bead method.The seeds of these seven vegetables varied in size and shape.The DNA quality was evaluated by real-time fluorescent PCR reaction using reference gene Actin.In order to check whether the DNA quality was goodenough for KASP(kompetitive allele specific PCR)assay,we conducted KASP assay for each vegetable. The results showed that the average Ct value of DNA extracted from single vegetable seed by magnetic beads was in the range of 19-24.KASP assays further confirmed their quality was good enough for KASP markers assay.In conclusion,this study established a simple,economical and practical method for DNA extraction of single seeds,which has good stability for vegetable seeds of different sizes and greatly reduces the time for obtaining genotype data.

    In order to master the basic situation of vegetable perchlorate contamination in Huhhot region,and analyze its health risk to human body,this study collected at random 92 vegetable samples in Hohhot City and measured perchlorate content using ultra high performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry(UHPLC-MS/MS),then caculated the hazard quotient to evaluate the health risk of perchlorate in vegetables.Results indicated that perchlorate was detected in 53 vegetable samples out of 92 tested samples.The detection rate was 57.6%.The concentration ranged from ND-1.076 mg · kg-1.Chinese cbbage type vegetables belonged to the vegetable category with the highest perchlorate concentration. The detection rate of perchlorate was 72.7%.In planting stage,vegetable perchlorate detection rate was 81.0%,and at circulation stage it was 38.0%.According to the European limit value of perchlorate for vegetable,the exceeding standard rate was 27.2%.The hazard quotient to human body by perchlorate intake via vegetable route in Hohhot region was less than 1,suggesting that at present perchlorate contamination level was acceptable and relatively safe for human body.

    Under the background of urgent green reform of agricultural production mode,it is of great significance to grasp the difference of farmers’green production behavior under different capital endowment to promote the green development of agriculture. The artide is based on the survey data of vegetable farmers in Hebei,Shandong,Liaoning,Beijing and Tianjin,this paper explores what factors lead to the diff erence of farmers’green production behavior from the perspective of capital endowment. The results show that,first,the proportion of farmers implementing green production behavior is low,and there is insufficient capital endowment. Second,there are diff erences in the implementation of green production behaviors among farmers with diff erent human capital. The proportion of green production behaviors implemented by the new generation and farmers who participate in technical training is higher,while gender and education level lead to less diff erence in the implementation of green production behaviors among farmers. Third,there are diff erences in the implementation of green production behaviors among farmers with diff erent material capital. The proportion of green production behaviors implemented by farmers with large facility area and farmers with quality certifi cation is higher,while the degree of facility aging led to less variation in green production behavior among farmers. In view of this,countermeasures and suggestions are put forward from the levels of government,villages and farmers.

    China is the world’s largest producer of vegetables,with vegetables being the primary export category of Chinese agricultural products,accounting for 16.157% of agricultural exports in 2022.In the context of the RCEP agreement’s signing and implementation,it is highly significant to explore the status and potential of China’s vegetable trade with its partners to deepen the positive eff ects of exports and enhance the international competitiveness of Chinese vegetables.The study utilizes panel data of China’s vegetable export trade to RCEP partners from 2006 to 2022,constructs a stochastic frontier gravity model and a trade inefficiency model,empirically analyzes China’s trade efficiency and its influencing factors with respect to RCEP partners,and measures the export potential of each country.The results indicate that the economic level,population size,economic disparity,vegetable yields,and trade environment of China and RCEP partners significantly impact vegetable exports.The rule of law,economic institutional environment,and infrastructure level of RCEP partners positively infl uence the effi ciency of vegetable exports.However,the level of integrity in export destinations and improvements in government effi ciency,conversely,negatively aff ect trade effi ciency.The average effi ciency of China’s vegetable exports to RCEP partners over the years is 0.667,though there are signifi cant diff erences among the countries within the RCEP partnership.China should continue to enhance the quality of its vegetable exports,expedite the implementation of the RCEP agreement,and further expand the depth and breadth of its cooperation with RCEP partners to reduce trade resistance and promote the continued growth of vegetable export volumes.

    Abstract:As one of the important food crops in China,how to realize the high quality development ofits industry under the guidance of being an agricultural powerhouse strategy has become an important issue.The present situation of potato industry development in China was reviewed by following sectors of productionstatus,planting structure,planting area,supply and demand,consumption,income and trade,etc.The results indicated that potato industry in China is faced with 5 following challenges.New changes havetaken place in the international environment.Breakthrough varieties are scarce.Resource and environmentconstraints are becoming tighter.Production input cost increases rapidly.Disease resistance of varieties isuneven.The authors put forward a strategy for high quality development as ensuring national food security,focusing on industrial extension,strengthening technical support,ensuring industrial safety,and building acomplete management system as the core.It is also suggested to reasonably plan a high quality developmentblueprint for potato industry,to cultivate green and superior varieties,and to promote mechanized,intelligentand green development paths,so as to carry forward high quality development of potato industry.

    In order to breed new varieties of purple-orange Chinese cabbage and enrich the variety types of Chinese cabbage,the genetic diversity and group division of 72 purple-orange Chinese cabbage inbred lines were analyzed based on phenotypic characters and SSR molecular markers.The results showed that 72 purpleorange Chinese cabbage inbred lines were divided into 4 groups by phenotypic clustering,and each group separately contained 13-24 germplasm,indicating that the morphological types of purple-orange Chinese cabbage inbred lines were rich and evenly distributed in each group.The average Nei’s gene diversity index and Shannon’s diversity information index by SSR molecular marker were 0.274 5 and 0.419 5,respectively,which indicated that the genetic background of purple-orange Chinese cabbage inbred lines was relatively simple.SSR marker clustering divided 72 purple-orange Chinese cabbage inbred lines into 5 groups and 2 independent germplasm,with each group containing 2-40 germplasm,and the germplasm distribution among groups was uneven.The results of SSR marker could cluster most germplasm with the same pedigree sources into the same group.Kappa consistency test showed that the clustering results of phenotypic traits were not consistent with those of SSR markers,which was a result of phenotypic traits were inconsistent with SSR markers in representativeness,coverage and correspondence.

    In order to create new germplasm and discover new genes,we explored the mutagenic effect of different concentrations of ethyl methane sulfonate(EMS)on non-heading Chinese cabbage.Four varieties of non-heading Chinese cabbage(HTC,XQC,JP241 and XWZ)were subjected to seed mutation treatment with EMS at concentrations of 0.4%,0.6%,0.8%,and seed germination and the variation of agronomic traits in the field were investigated.The results showed that the seed germination potential,germination rate and relative seedling establishment rate of the four varieties of non-heading Chinese cabbage gradually decreased with the increase of EMS concentration,and the differences between treatments were significant.EMS mutagenesis cause variations in the traits of leaf color,leaf shape,plant type and flowering organs of non-heading Chinese cabbage.The EMS-induced LD50 of different varieties of non-heading Chinese cabbage were different,and the types and frequencies of variation were also different.The LD50 of HTC was 0.8%,and the relative frequency of variation was 23.83%;the LD50 of XQC was 0.8%,and the relative frequency of variation was 17.61%;the LD50 of JP241 was 0.6%,and the relative frequency of variation was 38.45%;the LD50 of XWZ was 0.6%,and the relative variation frequency of 16.69%.As the concentration of EMS increased,the later the flowering time of the first flower of mutant non-heading Chinese cabbage,the fewer the number of rosette leaves,and the higher the male sterility rate.

    Developing intelligent facility vegetables is an essential choice to achieve the goals of agricultural modernization and is crucial for ensuring a stable vegetable supply. Through macro analysis of the intelligent development of facility vegetables,reviewing its current status and revealing its significance in enhancing production effi ciency,improving agricultural product quality,and ensuring market supply,it was found that,espite the prominent performance of intelligent facility vegetables in increasing yield and improving quality,challenges such as high initial investment and maintenance costs,a mismatch between technology and human resources,and issues of data security and technological uncertainty limit their widespread application. Based on these challenges,this study proposes a series of strategies including growth-oriented,transformative,defensive,and diversified approaches,encompassing measures such as lowering entry barriers,promoting technological innovation,strengthening technology and human resource development,and enhancing data security and privacy protection. These strategies aim to provide scientific guidance and practical pathways for the sustainable development of intelligent facility vegetables.

    The damage caused by thrips is progressively increasing year after year,thus it is imperative to screen insecticides for their efficacy in controlling thrips.In this study,the laboratory toxicity and field efficacy of cyproflanilide,a novel meta-diamide insecticide,were evaluated against various species of thrips.The results demonstrated that cyproflanilide exhibited high toxicity towards both adults and nymphs of Megalurothrips usitatus,Frankliniella occidentalis,F. intonsa,Thrips palmi,T. tabaci,Scirtothrips dorsalis with LC50 values below 5 mg · L-1.Furthermore,when applied at a dose of 9 g · hm-2 as a 10% cyproflanilide DC formulation in the field trials,it displayed excellent control efficacy against F. occidentalis,F. intonsa,T. palmi,and T. tabaci with control efficacy exceeding 85% after 7 days.Consequently,cyproflanilide will be an ideal insecticide for effectively managing thrips infestations on vegetables.

    The development of spicy vegetable export trade plays an important role in promoting the international competitiveness of China’s vegetable trade.On the basis of analyzing the export scale and export market structure of spicy vegetables,this paper selected data from 2014 to 2022 and utilized international market share,indicative comparative advantage index,and competitive advantage index and other competitiveness indicators to calculate and compare the international competitiveness of 4 spicy vegetables.They were ginger,chili,onion,and garlic.The diamond model was used to analyze the factors aff ecting the competitiveness of China’s spicy vegetables.Research found that the development of China’s spicy vegetable export trade on the whole was showing a good momentum.Judging from the international market share and displayed comparative advantage index,garlic and ginger had excellent international competitive advantages.Finally,the paper put forward suggestions to enhance the overall competitiveness of spicy vegetables;improve product quality and planting technology;strengthen brand building and capital investment;and actively develop diversifi ed markets,etc.

    Abstract:At present,chemical control remains the most effective means of managing Megalurothripsusitatus(Bagnall).Nonetheless,the urgency to develop environmentally friendly control techniques is paramount.In this study,the effect of short-term high temperature on the survival rate of M.usitatus and theeffectiveness of field control were studied through an indoor experiment(different temperature and exposuretime treatments)and a field experiment(different uncovering times at cowpea seedling and twigging stages).The results of the indoor experiment demonstrated that short-term high temperatures had a significant impacton the survival rate of M. usitatus.This impact became increasingly pronounced with increasing temperaturesand prolonged exposure times.For instance,the high temperature treatment at 42 ℃ for 3 hours resultedin the death of both adults and wipers of M. usitatus.Conversely,the treatment at 44 ℃ for 1 hour resultedin the death of all wipers,while the treatment at 44 ℃ for 0.5 hour resulted in the death of all adults.Theresults of the field experiment demonstrated that the cowpea seedling and twigging period revealed the film at11:00-12:00,the control effect on adult M. usitatus reached a level exceeding 99%.Additionally,thecontrol effect could be maintained at 70% and above for 2 days after the treatment.However,the uncoveringof the film after 12:00 occasionally led to the phenomenon of seedling burning.

    Taking 31 late-bolting pakchoi inbred lines as material,this study conducted treatments on plumule-vernalization for 40 days and photoperiod for 16,20 h · d-1.On the basis of above results,take different responses to long sunlight were used to seeding-vernalization for 0,35,55,75 days and photoperiod treatments for 8,12,16,20 h · d-1 as a control to explore the effects of seeding-vernalization and photoperiodic treatments on bolting time and flowering time of late-bolting pakchoi.The results showed that 40 days of plumule-vernalization treatment was insufficient to meet the low temperature requirements of late-bolting pakchoi,and extending light duration could promote bolting time.But there existed genotype differences promoted by long sunlight for bolting time and flowering time of late-bolting pakchoi.Thirty-five days of seeding-vernalization treatment and under photoperiods of 8 h · d-1 and 12 h · d-1,were still unable to make the late-bolting pakchoi having their bolting time and flowering time.When the photoperiod ≥ 16h · d-1,it could promote bolting time and flowering time,indicating when the seeding-vernalization time was insufficient,extending light duration could partially replace vernalization time,so as to promote bolting time and flowering time and significantly shorten the time of bolting and flowering.The effects of seedingvernalization time interacted with photoperiod on rates of bolting and flowering had reached a very significant level.

    Abstract:In order to make full use of leek resources,screen leek varieties with higher nutritionalquality,conducted nutritional quality evaluation and analysis on 10 samples of 7 different varieties of chiveseedling and 3 different varieties of yellowish leek.Thirteen nutritional quality indicators,including aminoacid,soluble starch,and mineral content,were measured.The quality of leek was comprehensivelyevaluated using methods such as significant difference analysis,correlation analysis,principal componentanalysis,cluster analysis,and fuzzy membership function analysis.The results showed that there weresignificant differences in 13 nutritional quality indicators among the 10 samples.Systematic clustering analysisdivided the 10 samples into 3 categories,with the first category is 20-CJ37-1,20-CJ36-1,20-CJ17,and20-CJ38;the second category is 21-CJ43,20-CJ37,20-CJ8,20-CJ26,20-CJ38-1;the third categoryis 20-CJ1.Principal component analysis extracted three principal components for comprehensive evaluation of leek quality,and obtained five nutritional quality evaluation indicators:total free amino acids,solublestarch,water content,soluble protein,and calorific value.The fuzzy membership function model analysisshows that the nutritional quality of 20-CJ17,20-CJ36-1,and 20-CJ26 is relatively high.

    ‘Youbei No.2’is a new pumpkin F1 hybrid developed by crossing inbred line‘N-20’as female parent and inbred line‘N-9’as male parent.It is of early maturity.The first female flower node is located in the 14-15th nodes,with a high female flower rate and high fruit-setting ratio.It has fruit-setting ability of 5-6 fruits per plant.The fruit is flat and round,with 6.6-7.3 cm in longitudinal diameter,and 11.2-11.6 cm in transverse diameter.The skin is dark green,and the flesh is orange yellow.The flesh is glutinous and sweet.The average single fruit weight is 513 g.Its resistance to powdery mildew,phytophthora rot,and epidemic disease is stronger than that of the contrast‘Beili No.4’.It can yield about 36 t · hm-2.It is suitable for planting in Hunan,Hubei,Sichuan,Jiangxi Province.

    The hypocotyl is a commonly used explant for genetic transformation of cabbage(Brassica oleracea var. capitata),however,the problems of genotype-dependent and low regeneration efficiency are the main obstacles at present.This study explores the construction of a genetic transformation system using the epicotyl of cabbag e as an explant,with 9 cabbage varieties as test materials.The regeneration effi ciency after Agrobacterium infection was compared between the hypocotyl and epicotyl as two explants.The results show that 5 cabbage varieties had elongated epicotyls.After Agrobacterium inoculation,all 5 varieties with epicotyls as explant induced adventitious shoots with regeneration frequencies ranging from 32.4% to 78.4%.In contrast,only 3 varieties induced of adventitious buds with hypocotyl as explant,with the highest regeneration frequency of only 2.7%.This shows that the epicotyl is an ideal explant for overcoming genotypic dependence in B. olerecea transformation,and provides an effi cient approach to obtain regenerated B. oleracea plants.

    To mining the key genes of drought resistant genes in broccoli,the effect of biomass and antioxidant enzyme activity of broccoli seedlings were analyzed,with‘Tailv No.3’for material,simulated drought stress by PEG,and differentially expressed genes related to antioxidant enzymes screened by transcriptome sequencing,then expression level analyzed based on real time fl uorescence quantitative PCR.The results showed that the aboveground biomass accumulation of broccoli seedlings was signifi cantly inhibited and the growth of underground parts was promoted,as well as the activities of POD,SOD,CAT,APX and GPX increased.Transcriptome sequencing analysis showed that 6 513 genes diff erentially expressed was detected in broccoli seedlings under drought stress,of which 3 129 genes were up-regulated and 3 384 genes were down-regulated.45 differentially expressed genes related to antioxidant enzymes were screened,then one gene related to POD,SOD,CAT,APX and GPX was screened with the highest up-regulation amplitude by analysis of relative expression quantity,respectively.These genes may be key genes for drought resistance in broccoli,which provides a scientifi c basis to research drought resistance mechanism.
