Abstract：A pot experiment was carried out to study the effect of different foliar fertilizer on the growth,yield and quality of tomato.The results obtained were listed as following:application of different foliar fertilizers could not only increase tomato yield 28.6 %-85.7 % higher than that of the control，but also enable the plant to rapidly absorb N，P and K through its leaves,thus markedly increasing their contents in the plants.Foliar applications of suitable concentration of BRs and nutrient substance significantly promoted plant growth,enhanced chlorophyll content and net photosynthetic rate of tomato leaves,improved the contents of VC，soluble sugar and protein and decreased the content of organic acid of tomato，thus improving the fruit quality.Among the different combinations of foliar fertilizers，the rational mixture of suitable concentration of nutrient substance with BRs had the most optimum results in stimulating plant growth and increasing yield and improving fruit quality.
