Abstract Two molecule markers linked to root-knot nematode resistance gene(Mi)were used to identify the root-knot nematode resistance in 15 tomato materials during the seedling stage,and 1 immune material,3 high resistant materials,and 11 susceptive materials were selected by molecular markers assisted by selection and artificial inoculation.The results showed that both SCAR1 and SCAR2 can amplify the specific band which may linked to root-knot nematode resistance gene.The marker SCAR1,which showed closer relation with disease index of artificial inoculation during seedling stage,was more suitable to be selected to identify root-knot nematode resistance in tomato.
