Abstract Qifen,a tomato variety,was used to study the effects of different water content on the growth,photosynthetic characteristics and yield of tomato grown in organic substrates.The experiment designed(95±5)%,(80±5)%,(65±5)%,(50±5)% four relative water content(RWC)treatments,three replicates.The results indicated that with RWC increasing ,the plant height,stem thickness,the length of nodes,leaf area and yield,the net photosynthesized rate,transpiration rate,stomatal conductance increased but water utility effici...
