Abstract This article studied the effects of different nitrogen amount on the growth,yield and quality of spinach.Results indicated that the growth of spinach strengthened,the yield increased with nitrogen amount increasing.But the excess of nitrogen decreased yield.The yield reached 48.3 t·hm~ -2 when nitrogen amount was 0.6 t·hm~ -2 ,but it was only 45.0 t· hm~ -2 when nitrogen amount was 0.9 t·hm~ -2 ,88.0 % and 75.3 % higher than CK respectively.Nitrogen could reduce the spinach dry matter,cellulose,organic acid...
