Abstract Tomato plants were inoculated with 5 AM fungi in seedling trays, in order to compare the influence of different AM fungi species on vegetative growth and reproduction after transplanting. Results indicated that all 5 AM fungi species could increase seedling biomass to different extent, with the highest increase of 97.2 %. Flower numbers were also increased due to the inoculation.
