Abstract Isolated microspore culture was carried out with 14 F1 yellow Chinese cabbage introduced from South Korea and Japan. Frequencies of embryogenesis, factors influencing the plantlet regeneration were studied. Results showed that genotypes had extremely significant effect on frequency of embryogenesis. The reaction of genotypes to growth regulators added in the medium was different. Liquid culture in condition of 40r·min-1 oscillation could promote the development of the embryoids.Optimal medium for shooting is embryoids was MS + 2.0mg·L-1 6-BA + 0.1mg·L-1 NAA + 3%sucrose + 0.8% agar.
