Abstract Taking the improved male-sterile line of Korean white radish as the experimental material,the characteristics of growth,blossom and fruiting and the progress of backcross breeding about the VMS01,VMS02,VMS03 and VMS04 were studied.Moreover,we had bred the male-sterile line VMS01-98-16 with early-maturity,VMS03-96-07,VMS03-01-36 and VMS04-01-36 with bolting-resistance and corresponding maintaining lines VL-98-16,VL-96-07,VL01-36.The rates of male-sterile plants all could come to 100 %,flowers unfolded normal...
