| Effect of Exogenous ABA on Ionic Contents of Cucumber Seedlings under NaCl Stress |

Abstract The experiment was performed to study the effects of exogenous ABA on Na+Cl-，K+，Ca2+ contents in different organs of cucumber（Cucumis sativus L.）seedlings under NaCl stress.Results showed that Na+ and Cl- contents increased while K+ and Ca2+ contents of leaves decreased，Na+/K+ and Na+/Ca2+ increased，SK、Na and SCa、Na decreased in NaCl-treated cucumber seedlings.Cucumber seedlings treated with exogenous ABA combined with salinity showed higher levels of K+ and Ca2+ accumulation of leaves and lower levels of Na+ and Cl- accumulation of leaves and root.Exogenous ABA could improve the absorbing selectivity of K+ and Ca2+，thus to enhance the salt tolerance of cucumber seedlings.
