Abstract ‘Jiza 19’ is a new cucumber F1 hybrid of southern China type，developed by crossing inbred line‘04196’as female parent and inbred line‘Ⅱ-0407-1-2-1-1’as male parent．It is of early maturity．The first female flower sets on about the 4th node．It takes about 60 days from sowing to harvest．Its plant has stronger growth vigor．Both main and side vines can bear fruits．The fruit is of stick shape，straight with rarer tumor．Its peel is light green in color．The fruit is about 22 cm in length，about 4 cm in width．The average single fruit weight is 150 g．In fields，its resistance to downy mildew，Fusarium wilt and angular spot is stronger than that of the contrast‘Jiza 16’．It can yield about 81 t · hm-2．It is suitable for cultivation in protected fields in Jilin Province．
