Abstract ‘Jinghuzifeng No.1’is a new seed-using squash F1 hybrid bred by crossing inbred
line‘11552’as female parent and inbred line‘14600’as male parent．It is of short shoot type．It has high
yield and is highly resistant to diseases．The variety has strong growth vigor．Its growth period is about 100
days．The matured fruit is beige in color and of long stick shape．Its peel is thicker and hard to rot．Each
single fruit can bear about 320 seeds．The thousand kernel weight can reach 210 g．Its grains are full and
uniform in size．The seed is 1.92 cm in length and 1.01 cm in width．The grains have even size and green color
pulp．The protein content is 34.28%，dry matter content is 94.87%，fat content is 53.48%．The commodity
is good．Its plant is hard to premature senility．This variety is medium resistant to powdery mildew，ZYMV
and WMV．It can yield about 2.4 t · hm-2．It is suitable for open field cultivation in early spring in Inner
Mongolia，Xinjiang regions．
