Abstract The F1 of Xiao Qing Kou × Lu Da Xiao Gen was crossed and backcrossed with` Tong Xiang Huang Ya Cai . and a new Chinese cabbage variety-` Huang Ya 14-1 was developed. Huang Ya 14-1 is tender and tasty, with bright yellow inner leaves. It is also resistant to cold and TuMV. The yield of Huang Ya 14-1 reaches 3.75￣5.25t / ha, 100% higher than that of Yu Yao Huang Ya Cai .
