Abstract Xinfan No. 5’is a F 1 hybrid crossing ‘Zhongshu No. 6’ and line ‘0307’ with nonripening gene. The plant habit is indeterminate. The fruit is dark red and round. Average fruit weighted 140～160g. Thick skin and meat make the variety storable and resistant to cracking. When the fruits were stored for 70～90 day in autumn under room conditions. Seventy percent of fruits remained good.
