Abstract The tomato varieties of Caruso and Liao Fenza 3 were cultivated under long term in solar lean to greenhouse. The number of irrigation frequency were 18-21,the average amount of water in each irrigation was 225-255m 3·hm -2 ,the total amout of irrigation water was 4384.8-4866.9m 3·hm -2 throughout the whole tomato growth period.
