Abstract The development inhibition of Synedrella nodiflora L.Gaertn. leaf extracts aganist Pieris rapae was determined. Results indicated that the extracts (SNLE) had high development inhibition against it. The weight of larvae that ate the leaves treated with 10000μg·mL -1 SNLE decreased to one third compared to that of CK,and the time of pupation was slower than that of CK.
