Abstract The optimum storage and germination temperature of vet ch spore was 4-5℃ and 20-28℃ respectively. The spore germinati on was inhibited when the temperature was over 30℃ and below 10℃. Gametohyte was tolerant to low temperature of 2℃. The suitable temp erature of fertilization and young sporophyte growth were 20-28℃ and 25 -28℃ respectively.
