Abstract The effects of 21 8 11S complex fertilizer (CF) on yield,qualities and benefit of two leafy vegetables (celery and Chinese cabbage) were studied in Laiyang and Shouguang in Shandong province. The results were compared with 15 15 15S fertilizer. It was concluded that the CF of 21 8 11S was better than 15 15 15S,which was commonly used in China today, on yield, qualities and benefit of two selected vegetables.
