Research Progress on Folate Accumulation in Horticultural Plants

Abstract：Folate is an essential B vitamin for the human body，and is important to maintain the physiological metabolism of plants．This paper mainly reviewed the research progress of folates in horticultural plants，including accumulation patterns，influence factors，metabolic engineering，and candidate gene mining．This review will lay the foundation for further research on folate metabolism and high folate production and breeding in future．
