Abstract：40 conventional strawberry varieties were evaluated for their resistance to Tetranychus urticae，Frankliniella occidentalis and root rot，and the field control effects of 9 insecticides against T. urticae were tested．The results showed that among the 40 strawberry varieties tested，there were 9 varieties with strong comprehensive resistance to insect pests，including‘Black Pearl’‘Red Pearl’‘Hongxing’and‘Zijinzaoyu’，while the varieties with strong resistance to root rot in the field were‘Fengxiang’‘Yuexin’and‘Fenyu’．Field efficacy test results showed that 5% emamectin benzoate microemulsion had the best control effect on T. urticae，and the control efficacy was 87.23% to 98.78% in 1-5 days after treatment，which indicated good rapidity and persistence，it could be recommended for the control of T. urticae in strawberry production．
