Abstract：‘Tianjiao No.24’ is a new dried pepper F1 hybrid developed by crossing inbred ine ‘15129’ as female parent and inbred line ‘15139’ as male parent．The plant has stronger growth vigor．The plant is about 96 cm in height．It is of early-medium maturity．From field planting to harvesting is about 90 days．The average fruit number per single plant is 32.4．The old ripe fruit is dark red in color．Its fruit is of linear shape．The fruit is about 22 cm in length，and about 1.5 cm in width．Its piquancy is strong．The total content of capsaicin is 3.29 g · kg-1，and VC content is 176.05 mg · kg-1．It is medium resistant to phytophthora blight，CMV and TMV．The average single fruit weight is 13.1 g．It can yield dried pepper about 5.4 t · hm-2．It is suitable to be cultivated in open fields in Gansu，Xinjiang．
