Abstract：‘Longzaqie No.8’ is a F1 hybrid of long purple eggplant，developed by crossing 93-102 as female parent and 95-17 as male parent. It has strong growth vigor，semi-erect plant type，and moderate leave stretch. Its plant height ranges from 80-85 cm. Its leaf blades were thick and dark green in color. Its stem was thick and strong. The fruit is of rod-like shape with 22-24 cm in length and about 5 cm in diameter. Its single fruit weight is about 170 g. Its fruit peel is atropurpureus，and has good lustrousness. It is resistance to aging. The fruit pulp is green-white with moderate hardness and high quality. Its yield is 52.5-67.5 t·hm-2. It is suitable for planting in Heilongjiang，Jilin，Liaoning Provinces，and Inner Mongolia in summer and autumn.
