Abstract：We successfully constructed cold-induced transcription factor CBF3（CRT binding
factor），which was transferred to eggplant‘ Sanyueqie’（ Solanum melongena L.）by agrobacteriummediated
transformation. And we obtained 2 transgenic eggplant plants containing cold-tolerant
gene CBF3，through Polymerase Chain Reaction（PCR）detection genomic DNA，and kanamycin
solution daubing on the leaves of generation plants in the field confirmed that the transgenic plants of
eggplant were positive．Thus，we successfully established regeneration and transformation systems
in eggplant.
