Abstract：is a new early spring hybrid of cabbage selected by crossing two promising self-incompatible lines, 8101-2-20-2 and 8180-1-2-1. The F_1 hybrid has good quality, early maturity and high productivity. It can be harvested 50 days after transplanting. The yield is about 49.5～ 57.0 t/ ha. It s yield, commercial quality, hybrid rate and seed germination are all much higher than Zhonggan No. 11, a widely used spring F_1 hybrid in China. The new F_1 hybrid has now been released on a large scale in northern China.
