Abstract：Hujiao No.2 is a new hot pepper F_1 hybrid_ developed by crossing female parent 91-14-2-3 with male parent 91-30-6-1. It is early-middle maturity, taking about 50 days from planting to the first harvest. It has stronger resistance to virus and Phytophthora blight than the control variety.The fruit is long lantern-shaped with thin skin and smooth surface.
