Abstract:In order to explore the effect of UV-B light supplement lamp in eggplant seedling culture,this paper took eggplant variety‘Hangqie No.1’as test material;set up 3 treatments,respectively including UV-B light supplement(with low-dose UV-B band),ordinary light supplement and no light supplement(the contrast);and explored the effects of different light supplement treatments on eggplant seedling growth and resistance physiology.The paper also studied the effects of different light supplement treatments on eggplant seedling disease resistance by indoor determination of UV-B light supplement on pathogen activity,and conducting experiment on pathogenicity at seedling stage.The results showed that the plant height,stem diameter,leaf area,chlorophyll content and ascorbate peroxidase activity(APX),peroxidase(POD),catalase(CAT),superoxide dismutase(SOD),etc. enzym activities of eggplant seedlings were all significantly different from those of the contrast.Among them,the seedling index under UV-B light supplement was the best.In addition,after UV light supplementation treatment,the disease indexes of eggplant seedlings gray mold,anthracnose,and early blight were reduced sharply.Results also indicated that appropriate UV light supplement inside of greenhouse could effectively inhibit plant excessive growth,increase leaf area,raise sound seedling index,enhance antioxidant enzyme activities of leaf blades resistance,and improve plant disease resistance.
