Abstract：Fruit type cucumber‘Mini No.4’was taken as experimental material under long term cultivation and soilless condition to study the effect of substrate mating and pruning methods on its yield and quality.The results show that cucumber grows stronger and yields higher with substrate of 3 peat，2 chicken fecal and 1 vermiculite,pruning methods of maintaining 15 function leaves.
