Abstract：BIOSCIEN,a transgenic cultivar of tomato was newly bred and released. This hybrid was a cross with a transgenic line (D2) with an antisense ethylene forming enzyme (EFE) cDNA clone and an inbred line (A53) of a common tomato cultivar. The hybrid tomato has characteristics of the fruit ripening delayed,high yield,good adaptability and high quality compared with that of the controls in the trials of different years and regions.
