There werent remarkable differences among effects of induced resistance in three kinds of peppers induced by three inducers. The control effects of amino-oligosaccharins and zhongshenymycin and their combination with carbendazim were conducted to fusarium wilt on watermelon in laboratory and field trial.The results showed that zhongshengmycin had significant inhibitory effect to the fungi in laboratory bioassay and the field control efficacy and increased production of the combination with carbendazim were 84.12% and 104.61% respectively.These were significantly better than other treatments at the 95% confidence level.Amino-oligo...

The contents of reducing sugar,sucrose,soluble sugar and titratable acid in cherry tomato (L. esculentum var. cerasiforme ) fruit were studied. The results showed that reducing sugar was the main soluble sugar in cherry tomato fruit. The content of titratable acid in autumn fruits was higher than that in spring fruits.The content of soluble sugar in fruits grown in soil was higher than that in soilless culture. 17 Effect of Chitosan Film Coating on Pepper Storage

The optimum condition of making chitosan film was 2.44%-2.93% chitosan;pH 5.01-5.71,temperature 23.5-28.5℃. The best result was obtained by coating pepper twice.The sodium dehydroacetate was used for mold inhibitor. The formula of the film preservative is 2.5 % chitosan,an appropriate amount of ethanol and sodium dehydroacetate,two drops of Tween 80.

The number of nodes under the first female flower is 8.6. The fruit is long cylindrical,54.51cm in length,4.8cm in diameter,green in colour,sweet in taste,average fruit weight is 0.36kg. It yields 30-37.5t·hm -2,and is suitable for cultivation in south China in spring and autumn.

Defeng No.1 is a new middle-late mature Chinese cabbage F 1 hybrid bred from two self-incompatible lines Lubai 8SI and Xin No.1 DD. The growing period is 85 days. The leaf stalks are thin with little fiber. It is resistant to downy mildew, high resistant to virus. The yield is 82.71-83.11 t·hm -2, 2.7%-12.7% higher than that of contract variety Beijingxin No.3, with high quality and good commodities.
