Abstract ‘Dongnong 723’ is a new mid-maturing tomato F1 hybrid,developed by crossing 09811 as female
parent and 09817 as male parent. It is highly resistant to ToMV,leaf mold,Fusarium wilt and Verticillium wilt. The
fruit is of medium size. The average single fruit weight is 90-120 g. There are 8-10 fruits per ear. It can be harvested
by cluster picking . Its matured fruit is golden yellow in color,of ovoid shape with smooth peel. The average firmness
is 0.57 kg·cm-2. It is tolerant to storage and transportation. Its shelf life is over 30 days. The average yield is 180-
225 t·hm-2 in protected fields. It is suitable for cultivation in protected fields all over China.
