Abstract Cucumber grey mould is caused by Botrytis cinerea，deuteromycotina，which is one of the most important diseases affecting cucumber production．This paper conducted systematic review on the pathogen，occurance regularity，pathogenesis，disease resistance mechanism，disease resistance breeding of cucumber grey mould；and carried out expectation for future work，in order to provide reference for breeding of grey mould-resistant cucumber．
