Abstract Used sodium hypochlorite and mercuric chloride 2 common disinfectants to conduct disinfection treatment for welsh onion（Allium fistulosum L.）and studied the effect of Tween-20 onion seed disinfection．The results showed that 40 min soak in 2% sodium hypochlorite，and adding Tween-20 before and after disinfection was the highest in disinfection effect for welsh onion seeds，could significantly improve seed germination rate，germination energy and reduced pollution rate．
