Abstract Diversity Array Technology（DArT）is a hybridization-based genotyping method which uses microarray technology to type and identify DNA polymorphism.DArT has advantages of high quality,high throughput,low cost and the independence on prior sequence information.In this paper,we reviewed the methodology of DArT and improvement on its procedure,application in genetic map construction and crop variety identification.
