Abstract：Toxicity, the present residual state and residue limit standards of several used plant growth regulator in vegetables were reviewed in this paper. Some methods of reducing toxicity residue, as well as suggestions of using plant growth regulator effectively were discussed. It was necessary to reduce toxicity residue of plant growth regulator and improve food safety in vegetables in our country.
