2 Effect of Continuous Vegetable Cropping in Plastic Greenhouse on the Soil Physicochemical Properties

The main nutrition contents,enzymie activities,qualification of aquaous steady globs and salt accumulation in continuous cropping plastic greenhouse were investigaled. Results showed that the amount of main soil nutrients,the activities of soil urease,nutral phosphatase,acid phosphatase and 2~0.25mm aquaous steady globs increased,and the soil property of physical structure was improved. However,the chemical property of soil became worse and the salt was accumulated. 

3 The Growth Habit of Vine Asparagus Bean〔Vigna unguiculata W.ssp.sesquipedalis(L.)Verd.〕

The results showed that during the growth and development of white pod asparagus bean (WB) and green pod asparagus bean (GB),the growth trends of plant and its organs (root,stem,leaf and pod) appeared in S curve. The growth and leaf area of WB was larger than GB. During vegetative growth,net assimilation ratio (NAR) was low,and increased during reproductive growth.NAR of GB was a little higher than WB. 4 The Growth Dynamics and Nutrient Absorption in Radish cv. Xinlimei

The growth dynamics of fresh weight and dry weight and nutrient absorption of N,P,K and S were studied radish cultivac Xinlimei. The reasults showed that the growth rate of the plant fresh weight and dry weight reached its peak in 6175 days after emergence. On the average 1000 kg to proot required 2.119 kg N,1.306 kg P2O5,2.451 kg K2O and 0.589 kg S. The absorption peak occured in 3175 days after emergence. 

5 A New Chinese Cabbage F1 Hybrid‘Yubaicai No.7’ Developed by Isolated Microspore Culture

Isolated micropore culture of Chinese cabbage was studied,its efficiency was compared with anther culture. 6 Influence of Different Shady Covers on Production of Pakchoi and Spinach

When nonweaving cloth and sunshade net covered on the vegetable growing in winter,light intensity reduced 13%45% respectively;Soil moisture increased by 51.4%12.46%;Temperature of surface soil increased by 0.82.6℃. Shady covers promoted the growth of pakchoi and spinach. 30g/m2 nonweaving cloth gave the highest yields. 

7 Breeding of Eggplant F1 Hybrid ‘Jinshan Long’

Eggplant F1 hybrid ‘Jinshan Long’ was developed from ‘Gutian Purple×Taiwan Early’ according to the differences of isozyme and agronomic traits between parents. It has compact plant type,early maturation,high yield and fine resistance. The peel is purplishred and thinner. The pulp is white with a few seeds. It is suitable to grow in spring and autumn to the south of the Yangtze River. The weight of single fruit was 150200g. And average yield was 4552t/hm2. The highest was 78t/hm2.

8 Biyu— a Sweethot Pepper F1 Hybrid Produced by Male Sterility

Biyu is a sweethot pepper F1 hybrid developed by CMS lines. The variety has midearly maturity,more branches and dark green fruits,resistance to TMV and phytophthora capsici and midresistance to CMV. It yields 4553t/ha. Biyu pepper is suitable to be cultivated by in spring under protection. 

9 Breeding of Chinese Cabbage F1 Hybrid ‘Shuangguan’

Shuangguan is a Chinese cabbage F1 hybrid developed by crossing self-incompatible lines of heattolerance and middle maturity Chinese cabbage. It can be harvested in 60~65 days after sowing. It is resistant to TuMV and Downy Mildew,tolerant to soft rot. Its yield is 52.5t/ha. The head is round and light green. It has been grown in Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Anhui,Sichuan,Yunnan,Guizhou,Henan etc.
