Effects of Different Rootstocks with Resistance to Root-knot Nematode on Growth,Quality and Yield of Tomato in Greenhouse

Nine rootstock cultivars of tomato with resistance to Meloidogyne incognita were used by grafting with Zhongza No.9 as scion in solar-greenhouse production.Characters of grafted plant,including resistance to root-knot nematode,growth,yield and fruit quality,were investigated compared with self-rooted plant.Index of root-knot showed that rootstock cultivars 041-373,031D158,Genaros,Baofa009 and Trs-401 were all resistant to nematode both in filed and in artificially inoculation.The results showed that growing...

Effects of Several Natural Bacterial Inhibitors on Storing Characteristics of Pickled Radish

The quality of pickled radish,total acidity,brittleness,nitrite,color,sensory value and flavor,were investigated during storage after treated respectively by natural antiseptic phytic acid,nisin and suffumigated by onion.The results showed that phytic acid and nisin had little effect on bacterium.Only suffumigating treatment can keep pickled radish good quality.

Longshu No.6 is a new potato variety developed by crossing female parent Wushu 85-6-14 with male parent Longshu No.4.It is late maturity and takes about 115 days from sowing to harvest.Its dormant period is medium long.The tuber is oblate shaped with light yellow skin,white flesh,shallow eyes,and smooth surface.The rate of marketable tuber is 90 %-95 %.The average content of starch is 20.05 %,VC is 155.3 mg·kg-1,crude protein is 2.04 %,reducing sugar is 0.22 %.It yields 30 t·hm-2,and has high yield of 45 t·...

Jinongshijixingchangqie is a new eggplant F1 hybird developed by crossing self-lines heitian 97-14 and heiqiao 95-22.It is mid-maturity.The fruit is about 28 cm in length,6-7 cm in diameter,and is very uniform without green head.The fruit is dark purple,and the flesh is light green.It tastes tender and delicious.The average fruit weight is 340 g,the yield is about 165 t·hm-2.It is cold tolerance and is suitable for cultivation in protected field in North China.
