12 Changes of Chloroplast Pigments of Pepper Leaves under Low Temperature and Poor Light Stress and Relations between These Changes and Varietal Tolerance
Xie Jianming;Xie Minhua;Yu Jihua;et al.
Taking 12 different low temperature and poor light tolerance pepper varieties as experimental materials, placing them in solar-greenhouse under the stress of low temperature and poor light, this research studies the change regulation of their chloroplast pigments and the relations between these changes and low temperature and poor light tolerance of different pepper varieties. The results showed that the Chla,Chlb and ChlT contents in leaves of pepper treated under low temperature(15 ℃/5 ℃,day/night)and poor light stress(100 μmol?m-2?s-1 PFD)were decreased, but there were no significant correlations between these changes and low temperature and poor light tolerance of different pepper varieties. The Chla/b increased at the initiate stage of this treatment, and there were significant correlations between low temperature and poor light tolerance and the Chla/b on the 5th day.The Car contents and the Car/ChlT ratios reduced in leaves of 12 pepper varieties treated under low temperature and poor light stress. In leaves of pepper treated under low temperature and poor light stress, the lower the Car content, the smaller the Car/ChlT ratios, and the stronger tolerance to low temperature and poor light.

17 Effect of Organic Fertilizer and Inorganic Fertilizer on Dietary Fiber Content of Zizania latifolia
Huang Kaifeng;Jiang Jiezeng;Qin Yulian;et al.
Taking single-harvested cultivar‘Jiangshujiao’and double-harvested cultivar‘Fenghongzao’as experiment materials, this paper studies the effects of organic fertilizer and inorganic fertilizer on the dietary fiber(DF)and its main components in edible part of the gall of different sizes. Results showed that the contents of total dietary fiber(TDF)and its soluble dietary fiber(SDF)in edible part of the gall were rather high.Cellulose and semi-cellulose all have higher proportion than lignin and pectin observably in DF components. When organic fertilizer was used, the contents of SDF increased, while variation ranges of TDF decreased within the gall of different sizes, the contents and their variation of DF main components presented difference due to different cultivars. It is considered that the gall of Zizania latifolia is a kind of rich and high quality DF food.It can also stabilize the DF content of the gall and improve its quality when organic fertilizer was used.

20 The Changes of Characters Related to Fruit Firmness of Tomato during Fruit Ripening
Wan Sailuo;Gao Yuan;Jin Qing;et al.
Taking tomato with firm fruit introduced from Israel as experiment materials, the research studies the relation between the fruit firmness during storage period and the commercial fruit rate, and the changing regulation of fruit firmness during ripening stage and relevant physiological and biochemical indexes. The result indicates that the rate of commercial fruit has close relation with fruit firmness.During the fruit ripening stage, the contents of primary pectin and cellulose decreased, while the contents of soluble pectin increased.PG and cellulose enzyme play an important role during the decreasing process of fruit firmness, and have a significant negative relation with fruit firmness. The contents of primary pectin and cellulose have a extremely significant positive relation with fruit firmness. Therefore,in the breeding for storage and transportation tolerant tomato variety, the veracity of choosing correct tomato materials can be verified by the contents of primary pectin and cellulose.

24 Effects of Shading and Soilless Culture Patterns on the Growth and Quality of Bunching Onion
Jiang Caiyong;Chen Riyuan;Sun Guangwen;et al.
The effects of shading and soilless culture patterns on the growth and quality of bunching onion were studied. The results showed that in hydroponics culture and sandy culture, shading treatment can increase plant height and leaf number of per plant, but reduce the yield and the contents of VC and soluble sugar.Under two cultivation conditions of shading and natural light, the yield, plant height, leaf number per plant, the contents of VC,soluble protein and nitrate of bunching onion in hydroponics culture are higher than that in sandy culture.

26 Effect of Different Cave Bore Design Structures on the Seedling Growth and Development of Cucumber and Its Quality
Du liang;Zhao Rui;Di Wenwei;et al.
Taking‘Shandongmichi’cucumber as experiment materials and 50 different cave bores as experiment trays, this paper studies the impact of different types of cave bores on the growth, development and quality of cucumber plug-seedlings under industrialized seedling culture condition. The result indicates that different types of cave bore have remarkable influences on cucumber growth and development, and its physiological indexes, plug seedling grown in round tray has the best quality, the second is ellipsoidal square tray with ridge on side cornice and square tray, and the worst one is square tray with hole on side cornice.

29 Studies on Pollution-free Control Technology to Beet Armyworm
Wang Jicang
Beet armyworm is an important pest on many vegetable crops. After removing the egg masses manually for three times, the control effect on beet armyworm is 88.8 %,93.8 %,89.5 %,78.9 % in the field of hot pepper,Welsh onion,Chinese cabbage, celery. After killing the larva manually for three times, the control effect on beet armyworm is 91.6 %,88.2 %,84.7 %,81.6 %,79.7 %,69.4 % respectively in the field of asparagus, hot pepper, celery,Chinese cabbage, cabbage,Welsh onion. The best insecticide control period for beet armyworm is the end stage of egg hatching. The highest parasitic rate of Telenomus sp is 65.3 % in celery field. The highest parasitic rate of Nomuraea rileyi is 74.3 % in Chinese cabbage field.
