Abstract An efficient plant regeneration system was established through optimization of hormone combination,genotype,producing of adventitious bud in celery culture.The best media for callus induction and subculture were MS medium supplemented with 2,4- D 1.0 mg·L~ -1 +KT 1.0 mg·L~ -1 ,2,4-D 0.5 mg·L~ -1 +BA 0.2 mg·L~ -1 + CH 500 mg·L~ -1 +4 % mannitol.Genotype was an important factor for callus and somatic embryos induction.60 % Callus could be transfered from non-embryonic to semi-embryonic and embryonic callus.On...
