Abstract ‘Zhongbai 61’ is a Chinese cabbage F1 hybrid with early maturity developed by crossing selfincompatible
lines of B80067 and B80032．Its growing period is about 60 days．The plant is semi-erect with
compect plant type and green outer leaves. The plant is 36.5 cm in height and 56.0 cm in width．Its head is 27.3
cm in height，15.4 cm in diameter. The head is of short cylinderical shape．The average net head weight is about
2.2 kg．Its net vegetable rate is 72% and head shape index is 1.8. Its yield is about 82.5-90.0 t ·hm-2．It is
resistant to virus disease，downy mildew and black rot．It has high yield potential and is suitable to be cultivated
in Hebei，Shandong， Liaoning Provinces and Beijing in late summer and early autumn.
