Abstract Qingyan No.1 is a extreme early F 1 hybrid developed by crossing two Chinese Cabbage self incompatible 89 3 line from Yubao and 253 2 line from Hei Longjiang No.5. It can be harvested in 45～50 days after sowing. It is resistant to TuMV and Downy mildew and Soft rot with strong heat tolerance. Its yield was 48t·hm -2 . The near ellipse heads with less hair are light green with high quality and high marketable pecentage. It has been grown in Shangdong,jiangsu,Zhejiang,Anhui,Henan,Hubei,Fujian etc.
