Abstract： Three breeding materials of Brassica oleracea cytoplasmic male sterile (CMS) introduced from abroad were investigated in the field, and were backcrossed with cabbage inbred lines to transfer the CMS gene. 16 cabbage CMS lines and corresponding maintain lines were developed by backcrossing for 5-6 generations, and 6 perfect hybrids of cabbage with high uniform and good character as well as quality were obtained.
