Abstract our new-type insecticides,Polo,Chlorfenapyr,Xentari and Mimic were selected from ten screened insecticides through their indoor toxicity evaluations and field effectiveness tests. These insecticides are efficacious in preventing and controling Spodoptera exigua. Among them,Polo and Chlorfenapyr have low toxicity,high efficient,long residual effect.
