Abstract The relationship between irrigation amount and yield,quality of cucumber in solar greenhouse was studied in shijiazhuang,Hebei Province. The seedlings were transplanted on 10th,January,40 days after sowing. In 140 days growing period from transplanting to last harvest,five irrigation treatments with different water amount ranged from 2280m 3·hm -2 to 6960m 3·hm -2 were designed.
