Abstract The line P 1168 with parthenocarpy of cucumber sets fruit well without pollination,the daily increased values fruit weight (FW),fruit length (FL) and fruit size (FS) of P 1168 with pollination or unpollination are 23.64g,27.88g;2.33cm,2.72cm;0.61cm 3,0.65cm 3 respectively. The fruits of UP 3315 with nonparthenocarpy stop growing 3 days after anthesis,and then can get no yield. The contents of carbon and nitrogen of fruit increase rapidly with the fruit development.
