Abstract：The control effects of 11 insecticides against vegetable spider mites were compared in the field.The results showed that 3 acaricides,pyridaben,propargite,hexythiazox and 6 insecticides,abamectin,chlorfenapyr,cyhalothrin,emamectin benzoate,oxymatrine prosuler,envidor had good control effects and there was no significant difference among them.It had excellent control effects for 4 low-toxicity insecticides including propargite,hexythiazox,abamectin,and emamectin benzoate.Their control effects reached 79.96 %,88.50 % and 99.01 % for propargite,82.64 %,88.79 % and 97.77 % for hexythiazox,73.24 %,91.16 % and 97.73 % for abamectin,74.12 %,87.46 % and 98.62 % for emamectin benzoate after insecticides spray for 3,7,and 10 days respectively and they are proper for the control of vegetable spider mites.Cyhalothrin had middle toxicity and envidor showed lower control effects,so the timing and dose of their usage should be limited.However,chlorantraniliprole and spinosad didnt exhibit any control effects for the spider mites.
