Abstract：A test about muskmelon（Cucumis melo L.）pruning way and fruit set position was made within steel greenhouse in Beijing. The results showed that double vine pruning with 14 joint position fruit setting and single vine with 15 joint position fruit setting were the best in yield and fruit characteristics, followed by single vine with 12 and 9 joint position fruit setting. Double vine pruning with 2 fruit setting were not suitable in practical production.
