Abstract：New Cucumber Variety‘Jinong No. 2’is the result of repeated selection from cross combination of Ningyangdaci and Xiaobacha. The first nodal position of female flower is 3～6. The color of fruits is dark-green. The length of fruits is about 30～40cm. The type of fruits is claviform. The average fruit weights 250g. The yield is about 6t/ha. The variety is suitable to plant in most regions of Jilin province for open culture in both spring and summer.
